For those who were hating Hyungwon because of his performance, I suggest you have to watch it again and listen vey carefully to his voice. He has a sexy voice that others don't have, okay? watching old performances of debuted idols always makes me surprised. even the visuals' singing and dancing skills are amazing, but they usually being underated after debut
0:32 fuuuck that look he gave. i love hyungwon's voice man. he sure knows how to use his voice *-* the low and husky undertones completely slayed the song for me, it was such a turn-on in a vocal aspect. Even though he didn't get longer singing lines, he completely wowed with what he had. and his dance is slick af. that boy has stage presence, and he brought himself justice here.
My eyes widened bcs of the song title since it was very VERY familiar from me until Hyung-fudging-won starts singing bringing out his fckng-darn-hot voice that made me mouthed horyshell without a single sound. Then Wonho came and I screamed horyshell but once again, I screamed it without a voice. My innocence are gone, once again.
Ok seriously guys, for all of those who said Hyungwon used auto-tune: HE DON'T. It's the type of sound his mike have. If it has autotune, we would clearly heard it because of the robot sound effect. This is more like an effect of the speaker they wanted to have. Just like as if you were speaking through a megaphone. It is the same effect. Also, the choice of sending Wonho, was, I think, because they had to eliminate one anyway from those 2. Hyungwon did a really great job because of his facials when he was singing and his dance. I think they took in consideration that Wonho was singing more and didn't outstand Hyungwon. But it was clear that he wouldn't be eliminated.
Actually for a comparison, Hyungwon was having the same mike effect as the Black Keys with their song "Lonely Boy". And I dare all the people saying Hyungwon was having autotune to say the Black Keys are also autotuned.
This song made me love Hyungwon's husky and sexy voice. I don't know but this song fits Hyungwon and made him stand out. If I were also to ask I would also choose Hyungwon over Wonho in this performance.
