Trainee to Guard! My SCR story

You must have been playing for a long time! I like to get into the habit of checking interlock lights because on the SCR roadmap it says about "Disruption Events" which includes doors failing to close, which could be a future update.

@@jess.thetrain yes when that update come I will have to check the interlock lights but until then i will continue to do it the way i said before

Don't worry, I am sure you will get there eventually! Just remember to stand in the right place, check the off indicator and don't move. Those are the most important bits

It took me 1 year to become TD lol. But I became a GD in 3-4 months.

According to the latest version of the Dispatcher guide (v 1.10.13), "Once the TRTS button appears on your dispatch GUI, you should press it as soon as possible to give the Signaller as much advance notice as possible."

Now due to 2.0 we are required to TRTS when it says ready

In the training tab on the main menu of the game you can submit what times you are available. This adds you to the queue. Every time a training is scheduled by a supervisor, anyone near the front of that queue who is available at that time will be assigned a slot in that training. If you are assigned to a training, you can join the training server up to 10 minutes before the training starts, however if you are not assigned to a training, you will be able to join the training at the scheduled start time if there are some spare spaces. I hope this helps out!

Nope! Both red buttons work fine. In real life, you would need to press both buttons at the same time to release the doors, however SCR has simplified this a bit

It's a Google Chrome plugin called RoPro. The free version can tell you how much you played in the past week, however it only starts logging your playtime when you get the plugins so you can't see how much you played before getting the plugin.

If you are assigned, you can join the training up to 10 minutes before the scheduled time. But if you were not assigned, the server unlocks for a few minutes at the scheduled start time, and if you are quick enough then you can get in before the server fills up.

Good question! Each training has a different number of experience points required to unlock the training. I don't remember the exact amounts off the top of my head, but they will be outlined in the guide books for each role

Yes, in order to rank up to any rank in-game, you need to pass the corresponding training for that rank. All information on trainings is in the SCR discord server discord.gg/scr (13+ due to discord TOS)
