yea it was a bit too much for me. the view is 10/10 but the interior design and ambience didn't feel like a gym. it felt like it was trying too hard to be fancy.

I agree one of the most important part of the gym is the ambience and environment to motivate people to work out. If there are distractions around the machines, people will feel less obligated to work out but at boss Yang’s place, people are very focused

It's actually opposite, white shirt was using proper form by isolating the muscle group through external rotation, keeping elbows bent in front of torso. and the slight bend at the torso. This effectively puts tension on the deltoid. Jeongtae is using the "proper" form in a sense; that form was used prior to the shoulder, and rotator cuff issues people were experiencing. You can tell by looking at where his palms and thumb are facing, he's getting *MAD* internal rotation which can lead to injury (white shirt started doing it towards the end, but not as much).

yeah that round should’ve been Boss Yang by default with the trainer not doing it with perfect form. Kind of disappointed but I think probably because out of respect and it was just a light hearted match they didn’t say anything about it.

i think boss yang isnt trying to win on purpose, Dongeun can easily win, the second guy was totally cheating with his comfortable form, i feel like gangnam gym is the place to go n build up your muscle with guys n gimpo gym is like to lose weight for housewife,women or come together with friends.

Biggest factor in play is that gimpo team was on cycle, possibly on prep for a competition, Coach yang's team is on break, on the off season most bodybuilders dont take compounds or use less and workout less, the training is also different when you are preparing for a competition and when you workout just to maintain shape. Equipment isn't a big issue when it comes to building muscle given the gym they workout is big aswell.

I like the trainer hes not flashy with his gym and trainers he is actually a hardworker and make his employees work hard too to achieve their dreams they are more like a family.i would rather go to his gym it's cheap for strugglers but he teaches them the best he can.

I think yang's gym could step up the employee/laundry area. I would be concerned if the clothes/towels are being washed well enough. If they issued you gym clothes/towels, would you feel comfortable using them after seeing that? Especially after knowing they are going to be sitting around a long while since they can only wash a load or two at a time (they mentioned this in a previous ep. With yang saying it's not a problem that it might take a while since they have a ton of gym outfits.) Hmm, it would be interesting to see if him having the smaller machines actually wastes more energy and water since they would have to do more loads to take care of everything. Also it's sucking up time since you have to take time out to do all the loads. Maybe if his employees presented it to him that way they might get a better lounge. 😆 Though I'm sure he doesn't want them comfortable in there anyway.

The gym is too flashy imo. I workout in a chain mega gym which is quite popular in my city yet I prefer gym like team Yang. At least for me the gym should have working equipments, big enough studios for group classes and a friendly bunch of members. That's enough for me to visit there every morning.

9:37 but jeongtae's form looks correct. He's lifting the weights on his sides which is more difficult. But the other gym guy lifts the weights in FRONT of his body which is comparatively easier. The way the other guy is jerking his back to lift the weight might actually stress his vertebrae and paraspinals too...
