+Tin Man Hi TM. It's all about reading the dogs behavior. When Bo is on a track and in scent he has a specific body carriage and movement. When he runs out of scent, or the track abruptly changes direction he lifts his head and his whole body carriage changes. Each dog will signal a change of scent and they might look slightly different but once you know what to look for you will be able to spot it easily. If you have a trailing dog set up a trail that is heavily flagged for you to see but not the dog. Have your subject make a hard 90 degree turn. Watch what your dog does when he over shoots the turn. You will be able to see the in scent going to out of scent body change. A good dog will naturally circle back to the trail. If not you have to teach the dog to circle. That is an entirely different topic...

Leo Harrison Hi Leo! The answer to your question is both yes and no. I am not a breeder but Bo will more than likely stud a catahoula female this summer/fall.
