It's feels so nice when someone close from your region is going to become a champion, it inspires everyone in Caucasus and I hope all the nations start to think about doing MMA instead of pure wrestling or weightlifting, it's just sad that Gegard Mousasi went for Bellator
Mousasi is not Muslim and was born in Iran to Armenian Parents. Yes there are similarities to Khabibs Dagestanis Culture, but Khabib has probably more in common with a Siberian or Village Orthodox Christian Russian than Gegard lol

AKA and Eagle MMA is a testament to how many hands go into creating a champion in MMA. All of the best fighters have the best teams around them willing to help reach the top but THE best teams and fighters keep that core and solid team work after winning which seems to be the biggest problem for many fighters who hop from gym to gyms and trainers after reaching the top thinking that something different is needed to regain their glory days when it’s just themselves that need to change their ways and mindset
