I am so so so thankful that I have found your content. I had to take a break from group karate trainings because where I live there is no chance to train and I've been looking for the Jundokan spirit since then, missing it deeply and there you are. Thank you
Hello Mate Ok yes what you've said is true ,however it is also obvious to most educated people. Now I started training at eight and I'm now sixty-ish , I've trained long term in Okinawa ,Japan, China , Taiwan and Malaysia and today I live in western Australia rather than England. How did this actually change my personal training? Today I find it impossible to train in large organisations, why ? The truth is real martial arts whether they be European , African or Asian are based on life education and what you get in the modern sports hall is brainless gymnastics being labelled self-defence or sport and martial arts are neither . Okinawan Goju Ryu to Kobujutsu ( To here is the Japanese for and) is my main field of study , however I travelled endlessly to add experience of other schools if thought to my education . It is essential to tie physical study to some sort of academic study ( such as history or language ad infinitum et cetera) . This way one can continuously train the internal environment of their being ( Psyche) without burning out, whilst gaining and greater understanding of their external environment . Nosce te ipsum Tim
