The chin DOESN'T recover. Besides it's not like his chin was feeble. He was simply outclassed by his opponents. That said another KO wouldn't help his chin.
It’s not about his chin. He’s been knocked down/out the exact same way pretty much now two fights in a row. If he fixed that whole in his game, he can win. If not, a stronger chin won’t help him
Same here. He always used to come across as arrogant. I guess it's easily done in the fight game as confidence spills over but i think now after facing adversity on his journey he seems more humble, and lets face it everyone loves an underdog
Sometimes I don’t get the fans. They complain the UFC pushes the rising stars like Northcutt and Till too fast, at the same time complain about newcomers like Greg Hardy fighting cans. Does it depend on who they like and hate?
Till needs this win in the worst way...not for any other reason than self confidence. I want to see the face off after weigh ins just to see the difference in size between him and Gastelum.
The lads a warrior win lose or draw he will be the world champion one day. I would love to go to Liverpool and watch him fight. I think if Darren and masvidal has another fight he would win next time.
woodly destroyed him masvidal destroyed him hes hyped up and kelvin will knock him out he is a natural middleweight and he thought fighting welterweights would give him a edge in the middleweight division he is gonna get smashed by everyone just think of who the middleweights are israel costa romero ect
@@whoopwhoop1207 @Whoop Whoop Masvidal was figuring him out. Till caught him with that left hand at the begining but as soon as Masvidal read that it was over. Till didn't just get caught, Masvidal masterfully read him and knocked him out.
Sometimes when a fighter gets knocked out cold for the first time, they are never the same. Not talking about the chin but the way they fight. They got some kind of fear, hesitate and cant pull the trigger. Hope Darren Till is not one of them 🙏🏻
Yeah and sometimes they improve. Look at vlad klitschko, used to fight too aggressive and got kod several times in the middle of his career. Switched up his style, became more defensive and then became one of the most dominant champs in history. I think till threw caution to the wind and fought way too aggressive against masvidal and so hopefully getting badly kod will have taught him to not just rely on his chin and to rely on being the elusive technician that he is.
@@dailymotivation8862 I agree but some fighters gets away with such things by keeping their hands down and especially the right hand. Till is young, athletic and strong, he just need to correct his timing and sharpen his footwork.
alcott devalte true, but he only moves straight back with his chin up and hands down while being pressured. Rockhold had the same problem, he was a beast until they started to understand what his weakness was, till has that same problem
@@dailymotivation8862 I agree, Rockhold also made it worse by leaving AKA, which made him more stationary and predictable. He became less elusive and lost the technical gameplan along the way.
I like Till in this fight if he can follow Izzy's blueprint. Maintain range, batter Kelvin on the outside with kicks, pull away from Kelvin's left hand then counter with the right cross, throw combos on the inside with elbows and knees to the body, pull back with footwork and head movement whenever Kelvin attacks. Rinse & Repeat
Tills takedown defence is very good. Woodley couldn’t take him down, yes he knocked him down but didn’t take him down. Tills grappling is very good, just needs to work wrestling.
It’s a must win for Till really. If he uses his reach well he’ll be fine, but he tends to make quick movements backwards to avoid punch’s and kicks, rather than block or use movement in the pocket, making him open to lunging hooks. He also looks for the left down the pipe to often. People see it coming. . . If he gets tagged by Gastelum, it’s goodnight Caroline 🚕 But I hope he gets the W. He’s more than capable 💪🏻
I like Till and Gastelum. Won't be rooting for either one. Because I don't wish for any of the two to lose. Gastelum proved himself in that Israel fight, man that guy was going at it. Till has a ton of heart. Nothing bad to say about either of them.
Wish till displayed more of his Thai background with knees and elbows ,them 1-2s are so predictable ,wish he was more busy in there instead of quick bursts of predictable shots
Losses and being knocked out has ruined alot of great fighters. Some will never be the same. Others are better because of it. We're going to find out who Darren to really is.
I just can't see Till avoiding that overhand left all night long. Till better have sorted out his predictability and defence, or else he's going to sleep, again.
@@henryvan4501 he just wants to be McGregor with that predictable 1 2 combo he needs to stop being like Conor and be Darren Till. I have no doubt he'll win on November the 2nd
Kelvin said after the Adesanya fight that his next opponent is gonna regret taking the fight. Till really needs to come in prepared and I hope he doesn’t drop his left hand anymore. Could be a barnburner. But I don’t know if he can take Kelvins punches. Gastelum is a small middleweight but he can knock out anyone. Last two losses he had, he knocked down Weidman and he came very close to finishing Adesanya.
I don’t understand why his coach doesn’t fix till’s tendency to drop his hand when he punches.... he got knocked down by woodley with the overhead for that reason. Kelvin, having quick hands and being a counter striker, will take advantage of it for sure.
He's still young and he even got a shot against Woodley at the age of 25! I guess by the age of 30 he will have gained lots of experience and be Top 3 in his division.
Not dissing Kelvin or his power but the guy hasn't been on more than a 2 win streak since 2015, Also he ended Weidmans 3 ko loss streak in which it went 3 rounds and he was submitted. He has got heavy hands but it's not crazy one punch power like people go on about.
I’m a Till fan and imo his career goes one of two ways he finds his feet at middle weight and beats Kelvin and then becomes champ after a couple of wins or Kelvin Kos him and his UFC career is done and goes to another organisation and fights for less money I must admit he’s looking very comfortable at MW and is definitely hitting harder but Kelvin is about the worst match up for Till it should be a war I respect till not trying to get easier fights that itself is the mind of a champion 💪🏻👊🏻💯
Oli Black I no just banter mate but I’m hoping he doesn’t get kod bad by Kelvin because that man has got serious knock out power look what he did to bisping just for an example I really want till to win but another bad knock out could end up bad for him
Till is still a beast, he lost to the former champion Woodley who is 11 yrs older than till and has more experience than till. Then Till got beat by Masvidal who is 8 yrs older and has been fighting foreverrrrrr but he still got dropped by till but then ended up knocking out Till. In my eyes Till was winning that Masvidal fight until he got knocked out. Now that till is fighting middle weight he is going to be even stronger but Gastelum is a tank. All I’m saying is don’t be so quick to count Till out.
