Hi Isaiah if you dont mind could you list the best ways to break in a glove? I currently use an a2000 which is basically brand new and dont know the best ways to break it in. love the vids btw.

First do mallet work ( hit all the leather really hard ) Second once it is able to close almost easily play a lot of catch ( watch ball glove king vid on how to break in a baseball glove by position) Have an amazing day God loves you 🙏

I mainly watch ball glove king and also ASO who works for Wilson, I didn't use any oils this time , just a mallet and played catch bro

Majority of it was travel ball driven. I would say play where you can be seen and play good competition and coaches will see that! Continue to develop over time and there will be a place for you to play!!

Hey Isaiah, I know u said u were pulling ur head but u may have also been coming up out of your swing too much. Maybe by keeping your front/land leg stiff u would be able to stay center more rather than your body moving forward during ur contact and extension. Just a suggestion and I may be wrong.

yeah for sure , I played travel ball and that was a driving factor. I played for 5 star and we always played in tournaments with great competition which helped with some of my teams exposure. I had only went to 1 camp within my entire process

Just subscribed. My son (13u) watch your videos during our am workouts, keep them coming. Can you talk about the recruiting process out of high-school and how you decided on UNCW? He especially liked the ending to one of your videos where you are playing Fortnite haha, but I'm pretty sure you mentioned computer build that he never got to see. Really like seeing you enjoy life outside of baseball and its a great lesson for him and something to look forward to next year in high-school and then hopefully playing at the next level.

Thank you man!! in regards to my progress , a lot of it was travel ball driven. I never really did the camps or showcases, I had only been to 2 of them in my entire process. My deciding factors came to where I felt I may get a chance to play, it was a dream to play at this level all along so that made this a little easier. It's also 15 minutes from home, and with all the travel that travel ball brought me I didn't want to be far. I hope this helps!

Hey man, I love your vids and I need some advice. I tried out for a travel baseball team and didn’t make it. I train as much as I can and love the game. Do you have any advice to stay positive? Also Do you have any suggestions on drills to do at home to get better and make a team?

For sure bro! I would say give yourself time to grasp whatever happened. Come up with a plan for the off season and a list of areas that you know you want to work on. Work at those things until you're confident that you don't have to be conscious of them. Use this as a learning moment and become the best player you can be!

Love the content. I play college ball as well. I just think your drifting way too much. Everything is on your front have when you swing. It’s almost like when you making contact that all your weight is on your front half. Definitely should try and work on staying back and through the ball

yeah I feel you, thanks bro . a lot of the drifting are tee swings which I'm aware of and same for the few on the machine. This unfortunately was a day I just got beat a little bit lol. It's not an in game thing or overhand thing, just kinda got caught up. But it's cleaned up, thanks for watching bro
