If you are going to start doing tree runs, go to the fruit stalls in hosidius with a bunch of baskets in your bank. Then grab out about 10 or so baskets and start thieving. You will get a bunch of the fruit needed for payments (orange, apple, strawberries, bananas, papaya, pineapple) and can also get the fruit needed for botanical pies to boost herbalore. Also, you can get strange fruit which give an energy boost that is helpful for earlier iron man that don’t have stam pots and are limited on energy pots. Also, best spots to buy fruit: Pineapple = charter in catherby or port khazard Oranges = grand tree near food delivery minigame Apples = cullminancers chest Bananas = plantation on karamja at glory tele Once again bring baskets with you for those applicable
Thanks for the comprehensive advice cpebud. That's actually a really good idea with the fruit stalls. I did some theiving there in the past at early levels but not while carrying around some baskets, definitely a good idea for building up a payment stash. Strange fruit are definitely a life saver for run energy early in the game! You've done the hard work for me writing up that summary of fruit locations, I'll definitely keep that one handy! I still don't know why I ran to Port Sarim for oranges in the video 🤣 Thanks again mate for the support and also this awesome set of tips!
@@juicybeetosrs this is Garrett btw just changed my username to make it less personally lol. I’m glad to pass on any knowledge I have to help with the grinds. Love the series, keep it up 👍
Ah gotchya, thanks for the heads up mate. Yea sometimes best to keep a bit of anonymity haha. Definitely keep the tips coming. Glad you're enjoying the series mate, will do my best to keep it going strong!
Early on it doesn't really cost any time to just have some baskets on hand while theiving, but yea, beyond that I wouldn't go out of the way just to collect those payments.
watched all the episodes now, good stuff. biggest impact has to be bofa. It's so overpowered, it funnels the whole ironman game mode into it. Very strong, no supplies used to get and no supplies used to use it. Incredible.
Thanks legend, glad you enjoyed the vids enough to go through them all! Bofa definitely has to be near the top of the list. I'm both excited and scared for when I get to that grind, hopefully RNG is still on my side! Thanks again for all the support mate.
Love the series, I have been watching since episode 1 or 2 cant remember but that made me create my own iron man and I have been enjoying the mode so much!
Hey Wiklund, you're a real one being around the whole time! Glad you've enjoyed the vids enough to stick around and even make your own ironman. Hope your journey is going well! Thanks for the support mate.
It's such a nice skill to be able to just work on over time. Maybe because we don't sit there grinding it in one go (unless you're a Tithe addict) and burning out it feels more enjoyable to work on. Sounds like you're the true master farmer with your multiple 99s! Thanks for the support as always Connor.
Thats so awesome, for some reason i just cant figure farming out. Not an efficiënt route, no efficiënt use of tools. Im always lost and never got farming higher then 70 as an Ironman.
For some reason, i actually really enjoy the tithe farm. Once i get in the zone i can basically do a full run with almost no brain power input so i watch yourube or a tv show and it farms itself.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! Just like you I find once you get a rhythm going it takes very little brain power and you can just power through it whilst doing something else. Thanks for watching and commenting mate.
I recently got into RS for no apparent reason and started a group iron with my friend, and have been chipping away and learning the game, im a lil ahead of you but nice to see lil tips here and there, gonna be cool to see progress
Welcome to RS! It's always awesome to hear about new people getting into the game. GIM is great way to learn, having friends to share the experience with makes it that much more fun. Glad to have you on board, good luck on your progress too and thanks for tuning in!
Definitely one of those items that you don't realise just how nice it is until you have it. I got it once before and it's quite nice indeed. Thanks for tuning in again Axhol.
That hurt when he bought the herb sack instead of the can lol. Immediately after buying the herb sack he goes back to hours and hours of farming runs and questing haha. He won't need that herb sack for a long time :(
To be honest I don't really water much at the moment as I've really only been planting herbs and I just ultracompost everything. Is there anything in particular I want to make sure I'm watering? Genuinely wasn't planning to at the moment but would be good to know if I'm just having a brain fade and missed something obvious!
Im trying to drop a comment on every video to milk that algorithm. I cant even catch up because you keep dropping new ones!! Great content man, I hope you keep gaining traction. Thanks for sharing your wholesome vibes :)
I appreciate the efforts mate, you're a real one for going through all the videos! With awesome viewers like you I'm sure the channel will keep building traction. Glad you're enjoying the content Connor, thanks for watching!
Charter at port Khazard aka fishing trawler tele. Easy oranges and pineapple in a pinch. Pineapple pizza is decent food and you can bank fast. I spent hours buying sand and soda ash to get my crafting going
Yea Port Khazard would have been a good spot for the pineapples and oranges. Thanks for the tip. I spent a fair bit of time there gathering crafting supplies early on but had a brain fade on the oranges 😅
Ironman wise two largest impact content are likely wintertodt, since basicly every single early ironman goes through the WT grind, and Zulrah. Also both were absolutely mental before nerfs to the loot tables and then later the nerf to the blowpipe. I'm not that up to speed to more recent large updates but also the move towards getting materials from bosses rather than skilling has been a big gamechanger to the ironman way of life. There are some master farmers in farming guild too so if you need some basic seeds for a future contract, no need to go all the way to ardy to pickpocket them :p. Keep up the good work, love the series.
Definitely two of the most of the impactful pieces of content right there, acting as a gateway to similar content as well. Zulrah I think was a big part of PvM for skilling supplies becoming more and more prominent, now we have Vorkarh, Hydra and the like. I knew there was a master farmer in the highest tier area of the farming guild so didn't think I could get to him but now that I'm think backing to it there actually are others around aren't there? Oops haha. I did want to go to Ardy to plant strawberries for the diary as well which was the original reason I chose that Master farmer but then didn't end up doing it in this video. Thanks for tuning in as usual mate, really appreciate the support on the channel plus the tips and discussion in the comments!
Hey dude, loving your series rn been binging the hell out of it! Quick question, how did you get the tags on your seeds to differentiate between them? Thanks, much love!
Haven't even watched it and i know you're about to drop the information i need. 1607 total now and i got tangleroot doing papaya run 😂 keep up the grind homie
Glad you've got that much faith in me! Huge gratz on your tangleroot that's an awesome pickup. Thanks for tuning in again mate, keep up your grind too!
I've pretty much only heard good things about GoTR. Looking forward to giving it a try eventually on the Iron. Thanks for continued support Harry, appreciate it
Who else used helping people in the arceuus library to get xp tomes for magic? I did that to go from 1 to 55 without spending any money on runes. 15-40 was pretty easy but 1-14 and 41-55 took awhile
I always wondered if people over-exaggerated herblore for Ironman. I can now confirm firsthand that they did not haha, it's tedious. That's part of the fun challenge of the mode though.
The biggest content that impacted the game what when Jagex started adding resources to PvM drops. raw fish, ore and logs added to drop tables ruined the ecosystem of relying on skillers for supplies for pvm.
Yup, think I'd have to agree. In general, adding resources to PvM drops in much greater amounts fundamentally changed the evolution of OSRS and has affected pretty much all parts of the game to some extent.
You should do tithe till 75 farming then master farmers as the ranarr rate is much much much higher. Plus from 75 at tithe you unlock everything which is nice
I think this is my vote too! The fact that you need a low hp level to do it efficiently (plus the good supply drops), it completely changed the ironman early game. All the big ironman early game guides are entirely based around unlocking todt. Totally changed the game!
Crazy to think it was even more busted on release yet even after nerfs to the drop table it's still a staple to ironmen. You raise a good point about the low hp though, I wonder if that wasn't such a hassle if maybe it wouldn't be at the start of every ironman guide. People could come and go to just do it when they feel like. Maybe then you'd get other skills up even more then go todt later. Interesting one.
