Everyone in the Chess community knows that Ding Liren is a paper champion. Not winning it from the current World Champion (unless certain situations arise, like the passing of a WC, imprisonment and so on) is lame. Also, Magnus Carlsen wins every tournament and is easily the highest ranked player, he is by all intents and purposes, number 1.

We were talking for a while, I was getting ready to go out and meet the boys for some beers. She mentioned then she was in Iceland so I asked her straight away if she knew him. She saw him a lot - big celebrity and lots of gyms there, shopping centers, etc.

I give him credit as he did have a good foundation to work with and crazy amounts of gear was not necessary at his level and you don't want to go that route I am 54 same age as Mike and if I had abused PEDs I would really look old and probably health problems, I still look like in my 30s and longevity at my age and good health is the goal.
