Arabians are wonderful horses. A lot of head tossing is because they have thinner and sharper bars where the bit rests. Many often go better hitless. They also find going round and round doing the same old thing incredibly boring. Endurance is fun because they are going somewhere different.
Thanks for your thoughts! Pippa likes learning new patterns, even when we are going around in the arena. Going over cavaletti poles, working on transitions. She's smart and picks up the game fast!
I am from Australia I have an Arabian Mare who I purchased young and I agree it is such a journey. You both are amazing. How do you keep your mane so beautiful my girl always rubs a the mid section. Well done on following your dreams
Thank you for watching and congratulations on getting a young Arabian mare! What type of riding are you doing? The mane and tail take quite a bit of attention! I try to keep them conditioned if not totally clean. She’s out in a pasture which gets muddy 1/2 of the day and in the cold weather I’m not able to bathe her! I’m currently using Montana Horsepower Nourishing De-Tangler and when weather permits Biomane Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner! 😊
@@alifewithhorses-meryllynn 4 beat canter 😩 It's so hard to train it out of him. We're still competing prelim/Novice and training elementary (second level) though. It just makes it ten times more difficult with a lateral canter.
Hello! I didn’t know what his stud fee was but given his championship status I’m not surprised! I’m so grateful that I own one of the last Thee Desperado daughters! 💜🐴
