I had the pleasure to see the Boop Musical a few days ago and Angelica did beautifully! I had gone in to thee show with no knowledge of the cast and in her first song I was already thinking 'this girl is going places'. Then of course as soon as I look her up I see her career of 6+ years! What an incredible life you have ahead of you!
I am in tears right now because this really inspiring to me. It was definitely a night and day difference from the lesson to the actual show itself! I honestly will be a nervous wreck to sing in front of you, because, you're honestly my absolute favorite vocal coach on RU-vid, and someone who really wants the very best for your students. My dream is to be on The Voice, and I would really love to have you and your coaches to help me do this, and to really make this happen. I'm seriously dead serious about meeting you sometime soon. You just seem to have so much of love in your beautiful heart for people. Love you and God bless you 🙏 ❤ 💛 💖 ❤❤❤
@Tara Simon, Angelica is getting so many great reviews from critics and broadway fans as well for Boop- for both her incredible singing and her acting. Many are listing her as one of the standouts and someone who needs to be on broadway. You do exceptional work with your coaching.
I had the pleasure of seeing Boop! The Musical on the 23rd and it was one of the best musicals I have seen! Angelica was amazing and so strong in her portrayal of Trisha! I hope when the tour is announced she’s going along and I can see her again b/c it was truly amazing
I turn to stone 🪨at this wonderful performance! So great to see the hard work and progression from fantastically good to perfect. Deeply impressed by this wonderful vocal coach Tara and this fabulous “Trisha”. Such a beautiful video clip! 💯👍
"Boop! The Musical" is 2 1/2 hours long and Angelica sings a solo, a duet (with Betty), a trio (with Betty and Dwayne), a quartet (with Betty, Carol, and Raymond) and two numbers with the full company. She is one of the three main characters in the musical and has the second most songs (after Betty Boop). Waiting patiently for the full cast recording.
Miss Tara, thank you for sharing this. She is very talented 16 years old. I hope she does more of this Broadway shows. I am just curious, I saw her sing opera when she was little. Can she still do that? I would love to see her revived that. She is versatile singer. More power to you Miss Tara to your company and to Angelica. Happy New Year! ♥♥♥♥
she has improved so much and her performance was perfect and expressive! i've a fan of your channel tara simon studios and hope to improve like all your students have
The result is brilliant...excellent...great demonstration of ability from both of them...I congratulate them both...that song has a lot of power and Angelica Hale doubles it...👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
I love the mix of Broadway and pop! Very good!!! I see how the acting is great, I like it!!! But I see how it is coming out. 😁 oh yeah, nice! Oh I see what you mean! Great job!!!
Wow I had no idea how radically different the sounds between the two genres are , but there a clear distinction. Great job Tara ! Plus she’s gotta act the words and become the character and the character’s motivation, desires , and emotions etc Angelica can clearly adapt her voice to broadway
Beautiful as always, Tara, you're such an incredible teacher! It's great to see Angelica transition in between Broadway & po Princess. Such an inspiration!
The only thing that I've heard that was "official" was a statement from AGT that the 20 initial eligible acts that weren't part of the 40 acts available for the draft either didn't get enough votes or had scheduling conflicts. Since the filming for AGT Fantasy League took place during the Broadway run of "Boop! The Musical" it makes sense that Angelica couldn't be on AGTFL. And I agree with you that being one of the three main leads in a Broadway bound (and likely Tony nominated) musical is a much better career choice.
You should only have one coach at a time. Too confusing if you’re having 2 different methodologies thrown at you. I personally won’t coach a student if there’s another coach involved for this very reason.
It’s a new musical called Boop, the musical based off the character Betty Boop that’s what she’s debuting in it’s playing in Chicago till December 24 it’ll be going on tour eventually
I had another vocal coach tell me that Tricia Gray is actually Angelica‘s voice teacher, but that she comes to you to coach her when she has a specific performance coming up. Is that true?
Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰. Will you react to Diana Ankudinova please. She has the most interinteresting voice I have ever heard. It’s almost like 2 or 3 voices at the same time. Like she has low notes with high notes at the same time. It’s so different some think it’s not her live but it is. I would really like to know what you think about it and if you would please explain how she does it I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance 🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t offer a free singing class but a great option is my new Tara Simon Studios community app where you can post videos, ask questions, and get feedback from other members, some of whom have taken lessons from our studio. This free community portion also includes daily exercises to hone skills and improve your mindset. Download from the App Store or Google Play to get started!
I’m glad that she is debuting in Broadway now I can’t wait to see the Betty Boop musical if she goes on tour with them Angelica Hale is amazing. I discovered her on America’s got talent and I can’t stop listening to her original songs unpredictable is my favorite from her but I can’t wait to hear the songs that she’s going to sing in this musical. It’ll be amazing. 😊
The name of this song is "Portrait of Betty." It's the sixth number in the new musical "Boop! The Musical." The soundtrack for the musical hasn't been released yet but it is coming.
Very misleading...trying to get views. Angelica was already a legitimate Broadway and Musical Theatre Baby beforehand. Nice of her to give you credibility lol.
Hmmm! Let me see if I've got the timeline right. Angelica started taking singing lessons when she was five from Tricia Grey at "Sing Like a Star Studios." When she was 9 and was heading for the live shows on Season 12 of America's Got Talent, she started training with Tara Simon (good interview where Angelica talks about "giving this woman a try"). Tara has been Angelica's vocal coach since 2017, so it's hard to figure out who else, except for Angelica herself, would be part of getting Angelica to the level she is at. And Angelica herself has said many times that she is only as good as she is because of her training with Tara. I think that Tara earned her credibility.
I am very proud of you Angelica! I remember your first audition at AGT. It was a-ma-zing! This performance on stage is a level higher! In sure your parents are so proud of you right now. Keep up the good work Angelica! 👏 ❤
