JAWS (Job Access with Speech) is a screen reader application that provides speech and braille output for users who are unable to see screen content or navigate using the mouse. It enables you to write documents, create presentations, compose and send email, and browse the internet using the keyboard. As a teacher or an assistive technology instructor, it can be difficult to know where to start when teaching students how to use JAWS. iOS has its own built-in screen reader, called VoiceOver. There are many resources to learn its use. If you like the JAWS voice, it's called Eloquence, and you can set the VoiceOver voice to that synthesizer in settings.
