This week we trained with a small part of our team The Family 15 Racing in Las Torres de Cotillas in the Murcia region of South/East Spain. It was great to train again during the week and not only in the weekend. However it would have been even better if more of our team mates would have come. Work obligations I guess are to blame for that. We had a great training with Carlos Tornell Jr. His father had other obligations this week, so Carlos Jr did the training. Both Jac & Kayden enjoyed it a lot, even though the training was hard. Las Torres de Cotillas is a very dry track. It doesn’t have an irrigation system so the only way to keep it watered is with a tractor and trailer. For a week training it would not make sense, so we did it the old fashioned way, in the dust. Jac and Kayden really like this track because it has a few large jumps like at the FS Suspension track in Totana. After 1 round of warming up both boys went flat out and had the time of their lives. Because of the track being so dusty we changed the air filters halfway the training. Just to make sure we didnt clog up the engines. We also started using other spark plugs because the previous ones couldn’t handle the pressure. Hopefully the issue with blown up spark plugs is also history now. Since the big repairs a few weeks ago at FS Suspension both bikes sound a whole lot better and Jac and Kayden both also say the ride is much smoother. Hopefully no big repair bills for a while now. The season has kicked in here in South/East Spain so hopefully it is proper back to twice a week training. Jac and Kayden will have summer holidays in 3 weeks. We are currently on the lookout for a plot of land where they can train a bit more over the summer. Fingers crossed we find something. For this video we used the GoPro strapped to Kayden for the first time. Apart from an issue with the sound we think the result is pretty nice. Have a look for yourself.
