I agree with this to an extent. I just think he's clearly at another level. Especially for a man his size to do combat training and cardio in general. He's got inspiration and the drive to really push himself at whatever he chooses to do, and take it to the next level.

He has crazy endurance for a 440+ Lb man. Seeing how red your face was getting during the sled pushes proves it. People can say what they want, but he's still strong as hell, especially at 50 years old.

His muscle endurance is just absolutely insane. Martins slowly losing juice while Grizzly just keeps on going the exact same rate constantly. Unconventional training methods but he sure as hell is strong and extremely durable.

Martins! When are you coming to Ireland? The tradition of stone lifting almost died out in Ireland but a few years ago, a champion kettlebell lifter and amateur archaeologist rediscovered a stone via it’s description in Irish poetry. The men used to gather after church on Sundays and hold games. We’re discovering these legendary stones all over Ireland now. Come over and sink a few pints to your health!

I just got back from Rhodos Greece myself. Took a 2 week holiday to deload and heal from strength training. I had a sore rotator cuff and light tennis elbow from training hard. My muscles were out healing my tendons and I pushed it a bit hard before the vacation. So I really needed the break. I ate fish, beef and lamb everyday. Shrimp Souvlaki and grilled octopus are fantastic. And I hiked and swam in the 30 degree heat everyday. There was even a heat wave this week so it got up to 32 degrees.. Crazy heat.. But swimming worked wonders for my shoulder. I even had some Ouzo and Mythos beer. I don't drink that often but I was on holiday so I thought "Why not live life a little?". But I got lots of rest. And I feel great despite my sunburns.. Aloe works wonders on sunburns. I go back to the gym tomorrow to start my technical training week with less weight and less sets, just to focus on form to wake up the muscles from the break. Was a great trip.

I've done zercher squats at about 180kg ... I think the key is to wrap your arms tight on the bar and sort of pull it into your torso so everything is as close to center of gravity as possible. To be honest still to this day being able to hold that much in the crook of one's arm seems unreal, unless you're the size of Grizzly (and obviously, I'm not haha)@@user-mp7yz2qt2t
