Hi there! Thank you so much for this (these) videos. I am a Director of a small dog rescue & have just had a Mama & litter of 4 week old puppies surrendered to me. I’ve never done puppies & want to make sure I set them up for success. Being in rescue, I see so many dogs that were not socialized or desensitized and this is so beneficial. I am currently trying to take a crash course on everything puppies by watching your videos. I wish they were in chronological order so I could just go from one to the next easily. I absolutely love your set up and wish every breeder was as wonderful as you.
I am so glad these videos are helpful. Please reach out if you have specific questions. I will help in any way! Those puppies are so lucky to have you!
Hi first time to ur channel and it's awesome....I'm a new breeder having shitzu .... hopefully ur channel going to b a big support for me ...thanks for the videos ...love from India LOVE ALL UR DOGS AND PUPPIES Especially ur setups are very good neat clean and never seen before
We are creating small controlled stresses to allow them to quickly receive the stress and then allow them to recover. Studies show that these methods allow them to be able to adapt and recover faster if they are exposed to other stresses later in their adult life.
I’m still confused about Guardian dogs. Are these female puppies that you sell, but still want to use for breeding purposes? They buyers agree to this? Thank you for answering my question. Glynny from upstate NY.
It’s ok! It’s a hard concept! The mom is given to the family for a fee, we have the right to breed them. We have a contract with the families for 4 litters. And yes the buyers agree to it. Hopefully that helps!
Wow! I have learned so much from your videos! I have a 9 month old Ausie-Labradoodle. Got him when he was 7 months. He is healthy and a cuddling hero. I take him everywhere. He hasn't been neutered as yet. He's considered an multi-generational Ausie-lab-doodle... APRICOT "ROCK STAR". Smart, well-mannered, 53 lbs of a love👶. Everyone...loves him!!! Before he's neutered...need a stud.?
I have an almost 16 year old (March 22) mini golden doodle and he has trouble walking and getting up from the floor. We have tried a variety of booties but we find that they don’t stay on. Can you recommend one you like?
Something like a Ruffwear Webmaster harness with a handle is helpful to assist an old dog to stand up and navigate steps. We had a fifty-pound dog who wore it constantly for his last six months. He was too big to help without a handle. I tried coban stretchy tape to wrap around his paws. It helped some, but didn’t stay on very well. Lots of non-skid rugs were somewhat helpful. Good luck!
@@elizabethmason9862 Thank you for that advice. I have seen those types of devices but we don't have trouble getting him up it is just him walking around. I will consider it.
Rubbing some lanolin on his paw pads could help give him some traction. My dog would mostly try to stick to walking on the rugs. I did try boots, but they didn’t stay on unless they were over wrapped with coban tape. I think that’s its name-the stretchy stuff that sticks to itself.
