Welcome to this video from my Scotland Trip 2018 which is from Croy located on the Edinburgh - Glasgow Line between Lenzie and Falkirk High.
I found Croy to be a fantastic station to visit during my 3-Day Rover tour. The station is very modern and clean just like lot's of other Scotrail run stations. The views are pretty good as towards the north the line goes straight through a very deep cutting. The frequency is great with many trains to/from Glasgow Queen Street going to Edinburgh Waverley, Sterling and Alloa. The ratio of stopping to fast services is good and the range of traction is good with a a mix of DMU's and EMU's. Moreover, I got three amazing tones from two 170's and a mega 2 tone from a 365 at the end. So I would thoroughly recommend Croy.
Includes:
- Scotrail: Class 156's, 158's, 170's, 365's, 380's, 385's
