I did the full run from Airdrie to Balloch once, it was a nice run on a…somewhat decent 3 car Class 320. I didn’t manage to get a train back to Airdrie as all services were cancelled on the line due to a deliberate lineside fire near Jordanhill. To make matters worse, I had a car parked in Bathgate at the time, and I was going to change at Airdrie to head back there. So then, it was a case of getting to Falkirk High on the E-G mainline, and then getting a run to Bathgate by my papa to pick up our car.
