I lived in Longbridge as a kid in the early 70s until the late 80s and caught many a smelly and noisy DMU's from there to Birmingham to buy albums and watch bands at the Birmingham Odeon.I remember them building the passenger footbridge lol.Good to see some decent electric motive power now.I even remember my Dad bringing me down in the late 70s to witness the Mail train coming through Longbridge.Great memories. I'm travelling down to Plymouth soon from Brum on the train so I guess I will be passing through again.
