At least they kept the body shape and when they was brand new in 1978 they was delivered as 3 car units

1:30 are there both 9-car and 11-car Pendolinos? 2:02 why is just the middle car painted differently? I thought it's usually done on an end car or the whole train! 4:17 that EWS train looks like as if DB hasn't taken over it! 7:14 wow! that's cool you caught to of DB's royal train class 67 with an EWS class 66 pulling a 32-car long container train! There sure is a lot of Pendolinos that pass through here!

Looks like the 442s might end up as loco-hauled sets in South Wales now. Or any of the other 950 odd ideas that have been put forward for them! Shame they lost their original seating.

There were plans for a new train company to start using some 442s between Southampton & waterloo; wonder if they will get their old names back?

hi I just like to make a comment about that Aviva trend um one thing you want of an artist on it it how I want like to be caught short on it because there is no toilet on the train the class to class 230 at work will be your ones without toilets are they just would not like to be on my palm Court shot if I just know that comment and they do not have class 230 is at a lower class 230 it's a

The 230s have been fitted with a DDA compliant toilet. If I have interpreted this question correctly.
