On Wednesday 9th June on a beautiful a hot summers day, I've spent a day at my favourite local station Southampton Central on South Western Mainline.
It's such fantastic station to be and very busy, there are large variety of tractions so there's so much to see, and it always keeps you on your toes a lot.
Station has 4 Platforms, which are wide and long, views of tunnel from St Denys where you see train emerge from is amazing, even the curve line towards Millbrook & Redbridge is also very good vantage point.
Services you will see in this video are South Western Railway 444, 450, 158, Southern 377, Great Western Railway 158 & Turbos 165, 166, Cross Country Trains 220, 221, some Freights Class 66 & 1 Network Rail Cleaning unit.
