It's a nice little AHB, I've been meaning to visit it for a while now. The AHB was installed in 1985 (if you didn't know already) & still contains the original 5th Generation GWE barriers, with the original barrier arms! The lights were renewed to LED ones around two years ago, and the alarms sound like their new, as from previous videos, they sound different and slightly louder. Originally, the alarms only sounded untill the barriers had fully lowered, but several years ago, they were re-wired into the lights circuit & they now turn on & off with the lights.
Double track 🛤️ 🛤️ happened until the year 1967 perhaps 🤔 where now it’s a single track 🛤️. I am very much doubt that there will be a double track 🛤️ 🛤️ at Tisbury and Templecombe railway 🚃 station 🚉 in the future when the time 🕰️ comes because it’s too late ⏰ to restore the second track 🛤️ back on again. 👍
Hi Alex, thanks for watching the video and for your comments. I agree about Templecome but there are plans to have a double track through Tisbury and a new down platform. Not sure if that is just extending the loop into the station or something more major. Unfortunately the way things are with the railway nothing is certain. Cheers Pete
