wait if they lower the panto and raise it would turn off the train and turn it on or uh

The train will have some form of battery in order to keep the lights/safety systems on but the train will lose motive power during the power changeover from HS1CTRL- ETCTRL

Why do they lower there pantographs at this section?

The height of the over head wires changes so they have to drop the pantograph and re raise it
