TRAINS EVERYWHERE | FNF: BIG ENGINE BRAWL (Friday Night Funkin) 

Time for the Lore Dump: -Puffball: Not much to say here, it's not really based on anything. Has the leitmotif of Thomas' Theme and the Title Theme in it. -Flying Kipper: In the original episode this is based on, Henry (based on stolen, failed designs from Sir Nigel Gresley) is pulling the Flying Kipper (a long train of fish) during the winter. He is diverted on to the wrong track and slams into a stopped freight train causing him to derail. He is sent away to be extensively rebuilt and repaired, ultimately fixing a long standing steaming problem he had. In the mod he crashes because he was going too fast to make up for lost time. The song itself is based on the Flying Kipper Theme and Henry's Theme. -Splendid: This is based on the crash that introduced James (an L&YR Class 28, modified with a 2-6-0 wheel arrangement instead of 0-6-0) to the series. In the show he crashed due to heavy trucks pushing him, wooden brake blocks that caught fire and failed, and a sharp bend. That's the little embers you see in the latter part of the song, his brake blocks on fire. The song itself is based on James' Theme and the Runaway Theme -Indignation: This is based on the strike that Henry, James, and Gordon (Prototype LNER A1 Class. Sometimes called the A0) held when Thomas (LB&SCR E2 Class) got his branch line and would no longer shunt their trains for them. They felt shunting was beneath them as Big Engines, and that little engines like Thomas should be the ones doing it. They also ridiculed Edward (Furness Railway K2 'Larger Seagull' Class) because he would shunt his own trucks. Due to their ridiculous reason for striking, Sir Topham Hatt (the Railway's Controller) shut them in the shed until they learned their lesson, letting Edward and Thomas run the Mainline while a new tank engine named Percy (considered a custom built engine) ran Thomas' Branchline. In the Mod, this is represented by the Big Engines stand against BF and GF. The song features Gordon's Theme -Endless (Remix): I can't really identify any references -Sad Story: This one is based on the Sad Story of Henry. Basically he stopped in a tunnel due to the rain, refused to come out, and so was left in the tunnel. A brick wall was built and the rails leading out were torn up. The song features Flying Kipper Theme and Henry's Sad Theme. Don't worry, he was let out of the Tunnel after a while. This is chronologically before Flying Kipper -Monochrome (Remix): The jumpscare text is as follows. "ALWAYS AND ALWAYS" (Referencing what STH said when Henry was blocked into the tunnel), "FAILED DESIGN" (Henry was built using stolen plans from the LNER's Chief Engineer, Sir Nigel Gresley. However they were faulty plans that had been thrown out. Henry was built with too small a firebox, and so had trouble producing enough steam to function properly. His rebuild after Flying Kipper fixed this mostly, and also made him into an LMS Black 5 Class), "NOBODY CARES..." (References the fact that no one understood his steaming issues save for STH and Edward. Everyone else brushed it off as him being lazy or out of shape), "I'M SENDING YOU TO CREWE" (References what STH said after Henry's crash with the Flying Kipper, where he was sent to Crewe to be rebuilt as an LMS Black 5). The rare "GET THE F*** OVER HERE" one isn't really a reference to anything -Ugh (Remix): Features James in the actual paint job he was introduced in in the books. -Godrays (Remix): I can't really identify any references -Confusion and Delay: The title is a reference to one of his catchphrases "You have caused Confusion and Delay" when one of the engines does something bad. Him yelling "Silence" is also a catchphrase of his. -Old Reliable: Edward being shut in the shed may be a reference to how he was introduced. That is, he was left in the shed most of the time in favor of the bigger, stronger, newer engines. The song also references Edward's Theme -Loathed: This is a reference to the finale of the Fan Miniseries, Sodor: Dark Times. In the series, an LNER B12 Class (called a Holden B12 in the series) named Alfred, comes to Sodor. Over the course of the three episodes he kills Sir Topham Hatt and all the engines on the island save for Toby (LNER J70 Class) and Gordon using bombs. Gordon goes to confront Alfred which allows Toby to escape. In the series, Gordon sacrifices himself and pushes Alfred into the bombs to stop him (this is what you see in the game over screen). The intro cutscene to the song is a recreation of the final confrontation between Alfred and Gordon from the series. In the ending to this song, Gordon may have survived in this version. The character of Alfred is also based on an early engine named 98462 who was on loan from the mainland, earning Alfred the nickname 'The Loaned Engine' And thus, the Lore Dump ends. I love that the mod's menu is exactly like the DVD's. The first time I saw it it brought me back WAY back in time! Oh and if you haven't seen yet, that alfred fella is a semi fan character based on an unnamed emgine in the books.

Here are the iconic themes of the engines in this mod it just brings out my inner child because I’ve always loved Thomas the Tank Engine growing up and every time I hear those themes I can’t help but smile as if I’m a little kid again.

Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell, the original composers for _Thomas and Friends,_ had a philosophy: that good music will be appreciated by anyone, regardless of the audience it's aimed at. Considering how all the original songs in this mod (sans Loathed) either remixes or samples their original themes from the series, I'd say their philosophy rings true, don't you?

Alfred is an engine that hates the fat controller and his engines and he hates Gordon the most in the series right now

Back on the early years of the fat directors railway Henry was a experimental mixed hybrid class of engine, this gave him steaming issues and he sometimes couldn’t pull trains at all because he had no steam, once a engine attached to a train became afraid of a few drops of rain, he went into the tunnel and didn’t come out to again, he was worried that the rain would spoil his green paint and red stripes, after many attempts to get him out the fat controller fed up with Henry bricked him up inside the tunnel until he was ready to come out again. The story has a happy ending when Gordon bursts his safety valve making it impossible to pull the train so Gordon suggested Henry could help and so he was let out and pulled the train therefore redeeming himself.

Sad story of Henry is actually a very sad story of Henry once a train was afraid of the two dropped of rain. He squeaked through his funnel and never came out the channel fireman and his driver argued with him, but he wouldn’t move the fat controller got the passengers to push Henry from the front controller passengers to push Henry from the back, but it didn’t work. They called an engine to pull him out of the tunnel from the backside, but whatever they did he wouldn’t move controller take away the old rails and bricked up Henry in the tunnel, but he gets let out the part two called Edward Gordon and Henry you can find the two episodes in the Classics

(Ok, I'm writing this comment after finishing Jason's mod and... my god, I feel tired). The truth is that I liked Big Engine Brawl much more than I expected, because at first I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but I gave it a chance because DPZ works as a composer and oh my god, it's very beautiful in every way. How sad that the FC thing cost you so much because you put it in Hard XD. And it's good that you were able to play the other secret song that, honestly, is one of the most difficult to unlock in mods without searching for how to do it.

Which told the story of how Henry was locked into that tunnel, henry trying to escape the rain fearing that it may harm his paint work refuse to exit the tunnel after the rain had stopped, in the model and book series this was because he was vain but in the CGI adaptation in the 70th anniversary film "the Adventure begins" because Henry was a scaredy engine. The story ends with Sir Topham hat locking henry in the tunnel, saying that he will be left there for always and always and always... Henry has left in the tunnel at the end of the story, but in the next story / episode henry is rescued from the tunnel after Gordon broke his safety valve and couldn't pull the- *Gordon in the background: *AHEM!** sorry about that... Anyway, there has been a running joke/creepypasta that Henry wasn't actually saved from the tunnel, but that was caused through rumor by people who haven't even seen the show.

Thomas and friends is based in a setting we’re all engines weather they be steam diesel or electric all engines have a place in the N.W.R but it wasn’t always like that when the N.W.R was formed the railway didn’t have many engines and it wasn’t till all the railways on the island came together to form the N.W.R north western railway all the resident engines didn’t get along with the loaned engines fast forward a few years and the railway gets 2 new engines them being Thomas and Edward fast forward more years and 2 new engines arrive that being henry and Gordon Henry coming first and a few years later Gordon showed up fast forward again the railway gets another mixed traffic engine to help with the work load named James and fast forward we get Percy he was brought in to help with the shunting at tibmoth cause the big 3 engines didn’t want to shun their own coaches but I’ll leave y’all to hear the r east of the information to other Thomas fans out their who know more about the railway
