how often do HU's come through STL (kirkwood/county area)? i go hunting but never found one, i base location on the heritage units app, which got me UP1943, an SI unit. please help Edit: what line is that? if its an NS line then where?
They come through on a occasional basis I’d say, so like not very often. The NS line here in the video is the St. Louis District and I recorded at a road slightly east of St. Peters. Honestly, if you have Facebook I strongly encourage you to join various railfan heads up groups for the STL region. That’s my main way for finding all sorts of HUs and SI locos.
