I think the trees covering the second entry point work really well, great idea😊👍

Nice little layout. Honestly think because of the size the trams look best out of all of them. I’ve been wondering about the smallest layout I could make due to space limitations and this has enough variety while still looking natural 👍

That layout has turned out superbly! Amazing how you have created so much to view in such a small space and yet it looks far from crammed, and the right hand section looks positively rural 😎

As someone new to trains from wargaming (recently bought the Bachmann Thomas N gauge starter set for me and my young son) this layout is my absolute goal! Not too big but an amazing setup. Thank you for all your content!

Agreed on the tram in rural service. Here, in Grenoble, we had a line that went from the city centre to a little village in the mountains of the Vercors, and which was in a rural setting for the two thirds of the line. The line closed in 1937. You had many tram lines this way in continental Europe, especially in Eastern Europe, but also in Germany, even contemporary with an international line between Saarbrücken and Sarreguemines. So, it is prototypical, and you can freelance whatever you want.

That is a really sweet little layout. Really nice scenes, and operating interest as well. And the backscene really blends it all together. You can zoom in on many small vignettes to where people would think, it was a much larger layout.

Very clever layout. I’m quite amazed how tight a curve an n gauge can make. I’m going to start work on a set in my attic, I have a bit more room (16ft x 3ft / 4.8m x 1m) plus extra for staging but I want to cram a lot in. So I’m defiantly going to look at kato and 3d printing

Always good to see a lovely little layout, as it shows the possibilities of N gauge! I love the classic Kato tram, as they are very similar to those that were still being run when I first visited Poznan in Poland!

You've got some great ideas in that layout - it was particularly nice to see the fiddle yard in all its glory, and I thought the way of hiding the entry and exit was very inventive. I may try the Kato route as I like the idea of smaller radii to make a smaller layout. Admittedly, the longer wagons and coaches do look kind of awkward on the curves, but modelling freelance does allow that. Who cares if they look odd as long as they don't derail? Keep them coming, I look forward to the next😂😊

Lovely little layout and well planned on hiding the curve. It really shows that you don't need to much space to enjoy your hobby and a nice variety of rolling stock.

Fantastic vid and just shows you what can be done on a small layout. I love N Gauge and will probably stick with it as it’s small enough to do many things, detailed enough (most of the Kato range are very detailed), and now getting cheap enough, lots of second hand goods vehicles, that it’s a win win in my books! Add to this the availability of the Kato chassis and 3D printing and you can pretty much do anything!

I've recently became facinated with KATO's Unitrack Compact line and seeing how tight of a curve my N scale lineup can take. Surprisingly, my Minitrix A.T.&S.F. decapod can take the R183 curves with ease. She made it through R150 curves too, but with a bit of slowdown, so, I doubt she'll go any tighter than that.

The tram looks great going through the countryside - there are a few lines like that here in Belgium, left over when there was a large network of inter regional trams.

Train / Tram. Why do people really care if it runs through the countryside. That little tram (if a real tram) would probably be not much difference to a UK Class 142 Pacer, 2 cars goes to stations, just one is a DMU and the other an EMU. As long as it looks nice why do so many people worry. Really lovely layout would love to try some N stuff but so engrossed with OO now I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Nice video. A friend of mine is working on a self-build Italian E326 electric locomotive in N gauge. He's asked me to help him source 12.5 or 13 mm diameter driving wheels. Have you got any suggestions? I'm an HO modeller, I'm not an N gauge expert. I've had a look around. What diameter are the wheels on that Kato steam locomotive for instance?

Being very careful on not mentioning the UK manufacturer of the dodgy wagon. Is that in case of a take-down claim, having seen other having videos taken down for criticism of a certain manufacturer?
