In this video, I visit Bradford on Avon on the Wessex Main Line. Services are seen by Great Western Railway including IET diverts and South Western Railway.
A wide range of variety was seen during the day. Firstly, IETs were seen diverting over the weekend working on the Bristol - London route and also Swansea - London and vice versa due to engineering works taking place between Swindon and Didcot. Including in diverts were 800008 'Pride' working a service from Bristol Temple Meads - London Paddington and 800306 in the poppy vinyl working London Paddington - Bristol Temple Meads. Units working on the Cardiff Central - Salisbury line were 165122 + 165118, 158950 + 158766, 158957 (later joining with 158747), 165120 + 166210 and 166219 + 165134. 159018 is seen working London Waterloo - Bristol Temple Meads & return. The line between Salisbury towards Romsey is still closed for GWR services due to the landslide affecting services to only use one line for both directions. Plenty of traction to see during the diverts and always worth visiting here especially during diverts.
Thanks For Watching.
