I’d suggest using that pier as a pier for a train ferry to provide a connection to the outside world. Pweiser has a ferry barge, float bridge, and tugboat that will work good. Vulcan has a series of ferries, but they’re all set up as turntables, with the ferry barge moving back and forth between two float bridges.
Thank you for inspiring me to get back into Trainz, I go right back to the original version but 7 years ago I went through a very bitter divorce which really only came an end recently. Now I'm determined to get back into building. I particularly enjoy superdetailing 'diorama' settings so your work is reminding me of all the tips and tricks I used to use. Thank you and stay safe at this tricky time for everyone. Simon.
I am planning on connecting this to tide water so the rivers can match up, then instead of the DB&EV connected in the normal area, I'm connecting P&B then the DB&EV to make a long route.
Wow, you’re a natural at route building. Which... reminds me to start working on my Texas & Western Railroad route again. Parts of areas on this route you’re making would definitely inspire me to do something similar on mine
For the coal ground texture, there is a SAM or PBR ballast texture that is much better looking than any of the coal ones. Not sure exactly what it is called, but it is definitely a SAM or PBR ballast. It's black like coal, but blends much better and is more HD.
Intresting build to expand the dbev universe. I do wonder if you do bring the dbev back into its NYC days do you plan on extending the original route further? It be cool to see the route running into the thickets of the Catskills along the esopus (dry brook). Just wondering though.
I understand where you were going with this route with the type of rolling stock and trams but I would love to see a large steam locomotive creeping down the street.
I actually use these videos to study mapmaking, as I'm slowly working on a decently sized route and I'm not too experienced in this, but I'm getting some stuff done that I'm pretty happy with so far.
I'm just into Trainz but I' sure I saw this one floating around for sale. Love your work and I think sped up a bit works for this sort of video. It kept me interested and hats off for the non stop commentary; I know I couldn't do that part either. The 1.5x speed certainly makes you look the complete pro. I believe I'm right but happy to be corrected that I could buy your route (is it called that?) and then find a whole lot of assets are behind this payware thing I keep hearing about. If so, comments I read about Trainz interesting way of extracting money from unsuspecting players may be right.
You can purchase the route from my website for $10. Only a few of my assets are included but the rest can be obtained from the Trainz download station for free. I try not to use additional payware content in my route builds for the exact reason you mentioned.
This is a whole new world to me. Are there more videos and creators like this? I just bought Trainz 2022 but never used it. I imagine if I can find some tutorials this could become a really relaxing hobby.
Have to admit you're really good at making wartime routes. you should make more of this stuff. and wartrainz has some really call boat assets ironically
I’m waiting for people to catch on that this can be attached to DBEV because this is the same railroad (don’t know if it’s supposed to be but this is a joke)
Hello, Im an engineer out of North Jersey for NS. If you ever need pictures of industries let me know. I love your channel! You have inspired me to come back to trainz. Thank You!
Man I really miss having the android version of this sim , I'm so angry that the developers removed it off of the Google play store i used to play it so much than one day I went to play my routes and then got a message saying that the game no longer exists , after that I sent a very VERY insulting email to the developers telling them that it wasn't right that they removed a highly popular game.
