In this Trainz Railfanning video, we visit Amtrak & CSX. In this video, you'll see lots of CSX and Amtrak trains. So many i fact, that some will get a red signal and have to stop just in front of the railroad crossing. I made all the railroad crossing sounds heard in this video.

What is a defect detector?🤔

A defect detector(or hotbox/wheel impact detector) is used to flag problems that a train may have. In this case, a “dragging Equipment detector” has cones in the center and anything dragging from the train hits it will cause it to reset and flag it as a defect to alert the crew.
