The new 2024 Trakke Bannoch Pro has landed! Let’s do a walkthrough and see how many times I can say “waxed canvas” and mess my microphone up in one video! Follow me on Instagram! unpackd_wit... Music provided by creatormix.com
@@FreyjaKat Yes the price is definitely steep. Since it’s still new I haven’t seen too many pop up yet on the used market but even then i suspect they will still go for $350-$400 USD used 😢. Just the 2 cobra buckles and 2 cobra ladder locks that are on the bag retail for close to $100 alone just in those 4 buckles, I think that’s also a driving factor on the high price.
Nice video mate 👏 Would the shape of the bag hold even if it is not fully packed? Im around 180cm and struggling between the original bannock and the pro version for edc and office...
I’m 178cm tall so as far as size I think the Pro would fit you just fine. It’s hold some structure when not fully packed but since it is canvas, it will look a bit floppy and won’t stand on its own. It also feels bigger than 25L, for me the size is great for edc but I can see it being too big for some. Everything I packed in my M23 video is my real edc and fits in this PRO with plenty of room to spare. I carry my water bottle on the inside of the pack to help keep the bag packed evenly.
I love the features over the original Bannock. Do you think this will work as an every day work bag? I’m 6’6”, so it shouldn’t be too big to wear. But will it be too big for a normal work load-out?
@@notme123123 I use it everyday for work, it’s quite big but just depends on your load out. I carry everyday a full lunchbox, cap2, water bottle , fatty tool pouch, first aid kit, light jacket and the usual keys, wallet, AirPods. In my M23 video, you can skip directly to the load out. That’s my real work carry, comes in about 20lbs. It’s the perfect size for my load out and height of 5’10.
Wow that’s a tough one. They’re both similar in function but still different. The Bannoch is a bigger bag for sure and it feels much more luxurious. The canvas and the wide straps are comfortable and feel like it’s been broken in right out of the box. M23 feels more like a work horse, that can take a beating. It’s currently on sale and even at full price it’s still cheaper. I find GORUCK harnesses very comfortable but I’d say the Trakke is slightly better. Tough choice because you can also get the M23 in waxed canvas. If I had to pick I’d go Bannoch pro. The cobra buckles and classic look make it a win but there is no bad choice tbh.
It’s definitely a big bag in terms of both height and width. I’m 5’10 (178cm) and it fits me like a glove, not too big to be annoying and not so small where it looks like a child’s backpack lol. I feel do for shorter and smaller frame people, it might look like a bigger “travel” bag but not like you’ll be hiking for weeks on end.
@@askabl Hey! I will more than likely sell the Bannoch Pro in order to fund another bag for the channel since no company sends small channels review units 🤣. I’m holding on to it as long as I can but with some new releases coming up soon, I’ll have to part with it in the name of science.
@@UnPackD Hey John, thanks for the answer. Please let me know whenever you're ready to sell the bag! Please don't forget! Thank you, and keep up the good work!
