Thanks for the great video. I don't think I'll ever use the reverse button. If that button could toggle between Cue points 1-4/5-8. That would be ideal for me. I hope NI team comes up with a work around soon.
I use a traktor s2mk2. Can i use mixer effects on traktor adding a x1mk3 or with this i only can control beat effects by the same way that i actually use with my s2mk2. Thank u
brother, i bought one but i didn't know it didn't have a sound output drive. If I use it with my sound interface and a computer, can I set up a pre-listening? I have a SSL2, but if I need to buy a Z1 to do this, it makes more sense to just have the Z1.
Yo pienso que esta muy bien ,pero me la compré casi al salir a la venta y me llevé una decepción muy grande.Me llevé una decepción muy grande por que native,cuando sacó la version 1 y la versión 2 ,lo que hizo fue lo siguiente,Native cojío y metió un mapeo que venia configurado con dichas controladoras.Al meter dicha configuración predefinida tu ya podias usar el x1 de inicio.Otra cosa es que luego a ti como estaba configurada pues te gustase mas o menos y ya fueses tu el que si sabias mapear ,te cambiases tu la configuracion a tu gusto.En la mk3 eso no ocurre.Lo que ha hecho desde un inicio Native instruments es meter un mapeo cargado ya como hizo con las anteriores ,peeeroooo era un mapeo muy cutre que la gran mayoria de funciones basicas no estaban,de hecho no se podia ni moverse por las carpetas y canciones ,cosa que es super basica e imprenscindible y tenias que cargar un archivo que hizo un chico de la comunidad de native para que pudieras tener dicha opcion.Luego Native lo hizo así por que como la gente en los anteriores la gente se quejaba de que es que esta funcion o esta otra no la has incluido en el mapeo y tenian que mapearlo ellos,native dejo muchas cosas por poner y escuchar a la comunidad,entonces conforme van sacando actualizaciones ,van añadiendo mas cosas al mapeo de origen.Luego también tenian el problema de que el mapeo de origen al hacerlo así para escuchar a la comunidad e ir metiendo lo mas demandado de los usuarios ,tampoco dejaba que te metieras al control manager y te pudieras hacer tu propio mapeo a tu gusto.Lo que ha hecho Native es que conforme han ido actualizando de versión han ido ampliando las funciones del control manager para que puedas ir mapeando mas cosas.Lo que no sabria decir a dia de hoy,es si Native al sacar ya la versión 4,si en la ultima versión de la 3 si ya habrá dejado el control manager de la x1 mk3 compreto para que se pueda mapear toda a tu gusto ,eso es lo que no se.
Hello, thank you for the review; I just got mine and when I connect it to the traktor the displays are flashing/blinking. despite that everything works smoothly. I d o not think that there is an issue with the hardware. any idea how to fix that? I have contacted NI support of course
I believe that there are some ongoing issue resolutions with Microsoft latest Windows update and AMD drivers that cause flickering. Hope that Native Instruments can figure it out with them. But don’t quote me on this 😅
I have used Traktor from the very beginning and have had all there gear at one stage apart from s5and s8 anyways jacked in the djing but I held on to the s2 mk2 because of its sise size and capabilities not to mention it was wrapped in 12inch Skins white cover beautiful looking in my eyes.Finally here’s the? Could I plug the s2 into the mk1 and a f1 would the mk1 be able for that or would I have to plug s2 separately and f1 into the mk1 mk3 sorry for such a long question
I use it currently with S4 mk3) X1 in my case suits for this: - Fx unit 3&4 (for s3 - it will be your Fx units 1&2, as well as ability to switch to 3&4 on the fly) - bottom part of buttons midi mapped to control stems on/off switches as well as fx sends per stem If you don’t already have s3 - I’d rather consider buying S4 before thinking about x1. Hope it helps)
I have now 2 psc Mk3 for controlling 4 decks. And I must say it's weird to kontroll the effects to the different decks... I can't figure out how to get them to work like the older mk2. Anyone know how?
