I can feel this song all the way down to my toes everytime I hear/see it. If you were there, you know! An amazing performance! Her 2 brothers and husband are clearly musically gifted... but Daniel... she is beyond!!

Janis is a national treasure and there will never be another Janis, but Danielle is also a treasure and I hope she has a lot more time to bless us with her soulful goodness than Janis had. She sings like she means it bad! ....I need a shot after that one....

Danielle's heartfelt expression, soul, and delivery is out of the park on this version of the song. I listen to it regularly and never get sick of it. Thank you Trampled Under Foot, and especially Danielle.

Just wonder after all this time..if that audience realized how blessed they were to experience this performance? They take this to a soul rendering level that is just beyond normal comprehension, and if anyone ever invents a stable time machine......

It's said by others, but so true. Danielle touches my soul. She's compared to Janis Joplin all to often. Well, she's no Janis Joplin. But, Janis Joplin is no Danielle Schnebelen either. TUF is simply the best there is. No equal. Thank you for what you bring to my life. I can't say it enough.....you guys are simply awesome! My hat's off. Godspeed......

it's now 2021...so great to see that both Nick and Danielle have grown from the Trampled Under Foot days and lead very successful bands of their own !

Have seen TUF many, many times and continue to do so. An absolutely phenomenal performance by the entire band. Every time. Period. My eyes water and I go into sensory overload everytime she belts out a tune. If you ever have the chance, do yourself a favor and take in a show. I assure you.....you won't be disappointed! Destined for greatness, for sure! If they don't "move" you....you don't have a pulse!

Just seen TUF Friday night for the umpteenth time. The emotion I feel when she sings this song is unexplainable. What talent. Not enough good can be said about this band. They are simply phenomenal!

In Jan 2009 we joined the Legendary Blues Cruise for one week of blues at sea. TUF was onboard, never heard of them before, and it was a shock! I thought, "what the hell is this?" We´re almost 60 and chase them like teenagers in Scandinavia since then! The setting they have on this vid is the same as on board. I´ve been to hundreds of concerts since I saw The Who in 1965, TUF beats them all. Outstanding! Danielles voice is a refined Janis, she´s sensational! Wherever you are, GO SEE THEM!
