OK.....so if I thought Vol. 1 was good....Vol. 2 is INSANE! For the 24 people who dislike this - while of course you are entitled to your opinion - I can assure you that both of these compilations from the late 90s are exactly as advertised (in their titles - "Trance Classics Vol. 1 and Vol. 2). Really - anyone who spent a modicum of time in clubs during those years ....will have to agree that 100% of this music was being played hardcore!!! I am grateful to DJ Thanda for putting this out there for me to thoroughly enjoy. (BTW - if any of Mike's friends happen upon this comment - he is not writing this; it is his wife doing so.) He vociferously tries to distance himself from Trance....so, of course, I thoroughly enjoyed cranking this really really loudly :)

Only onto the first song so far and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! Thank you SOOOO much!! I am chair dancing right now, arms in the air, woo hooooo! PS.. Does anyone ever wonder why it is that this music makes our minds and hearts and souls so ecstatic? I've heard it said that the chemicals released in some people's brains when listening to certain types of music are the same as those of drug addicts when using their drug of choice. I wonder why everyone desn't feel this way when they hear this type of music.. and I wonder why it's techno/trance that makes the magic happen.. It's just such a lovely mystery to me. :-)

Thats true, many of the drugs make the brains own neurotransmitters flood the brain in un natural amounts. The neurotransmitters are normally released in smaller amounts when eating sugar, listening to music, working out physically, having sex, and anything that makes you feel good. Thats HOW we feel, its a balance up there with endocannaboids, endorphines, dopamine, serotonine and adrenaline and others. We and every living thing have the dmt molecule in our system, even in grass there is some dmt. DMT is like acid on steroids, but the brain only uses microscopic amounts itself. Out of body experienses are linked to this I believe. And when we die, all the neurotransmitters are released at once I read somewhere. Thats why we see the light I think....... T

Trance Classics Vol. 1 and Trance Classics Vol. 2 are my top favorites trance mixes. I missed 50% of my favorite when Vol. 1 was removed. Is it possible to fix it so it will be returned to RU-vid? As much as I like the sound and editing. The rhythm of the other tracks is way to fast for me and maybe other older generation who miss the 90s trance. It it possible to have more tracks in the rhythm of Trance Classics Vol. 1 and Trance Classics Vol. 2?

there is a trance track from about 1996 or 97 that starts off slow and builds up before it gets fast there is a bell ringing in the song its driving me fucking nuts trying to find it.
