Tinnitus sucks, I have had it for as long as I can remember and just had no clue why my ears were always ringing until I saw a commercial a few years ago. I honestly thought it was normal.
You should totally go watch "brown note" in mythbusters, their speakers get up to 165 DB. (Decibell). :D If there is no limit to loudness. then 165 DB is that no limit.
@violet7260 simple fix, get good speakers( bout $120) turn them up to full and wake the neighbors :D what else is there to do?...WARNING it can blow out your speakers >.>....wich reminds me i need to replace my 5th pair of speakers ROFLD
@nejad666 Buy some small speakers, glue inside some hearing protection cups, hook to an amp, blast your eardrums with the force of over 9000 suns! (and go deaf)
@Daniel Zuk That character is named Revy and she is half Chinese and half American. She's from an manga/anime called Black Lagoon look it up it's very good.
I actually think I got it genetically because my mom when she was younger got to a point where she had only 20-30% of her hearing and had to get surgery to get the small bones in her ears replaced with metal "bones" and her's was caused by, I think, a form of tinnitus.
