Trance Lead Synth and Melody Tutorial in Ableton Live and Spire (FSOE, A State of Trance Style) 

Spire has the best internal reverb I heard and I love to use. But sometimes, I want to control the reverb separately, for example to add a side chain effect. Sometimes I use the internal reverb and sometimes the return channel. Also if I want to send the particular synth or other sound into the space I’ll use reverb in insert with more dry/wet.

@@MagicTracksProduction I bought a Spire tutorial and the instructor said the reverb in Spire was poor, needed upgrading was his opinion. That was one reason I didn't buy Spire. I think it sounds better than Sylenth's reverb. Dune 3 has lots of reverbs, 10 I think, couple of shimmers, stadium, room, cathedral and many more. It also had many types of delays and 3 different compressors. It also has 2 FX busses. I usually go for the simple delays and reverbs. Not too many presets for Dune 3 for trance unfortunately but a mighty synth for trance music
