One hundred percent! Every time i see a heavily modified T A, I think wasted metal. Especially the gen 2, there is no more beautiful car than a gen 2.

If you get an 80 or 81 avoid the turbo 301 engines because they are notorious for being total dogs

@@jamesnoble3502 aww man that’s the one I want. The white pace car. Who knows maybe one one I buy will be the exception.

@@josemontano7767 I wouldn't know firsthand but all I've read since I can remember is that those turbo engines were poorly engineered and would often implode under acceleration and the car was really slow even for it's era even when it was working properly. Turbochargers were still very new at the time new technology they needed to work out the issues.. But that's factory maybe there's a way to modify them to be much better. I think the majority of people just straight swap it out for a completely different engine. They used a 1980 Turbo Trans Am in Smokey and the Bandit part 2 and the production company had to modify them with nitrous oxide to get any kind of decent performance for the film

That's cool, I think the 1st show I attended was in 2005. The 1st time I put my car in the show was 2008 (the last year at the airport).
