For those who didn't know this yet, the piano beginning of this track is taken from Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (hence the title of Moonlight and Madness).
From "BLN",Best thing they've ever done . Chris and Al ARE two of the world's best progressive guitarists,Duet is "DOPE"-best I've EVER seen ! [RIP -Universal Amphtheatre]
I can agree with all of the except the guitarists- as far as the potential that is out there. Vitalij used Michael Romeo for his rendition of beethovens moonlight 3. Michael Romeo is a GREAT composer and probably the best currently living guitarist. He should've gotten some action at TSO at some point. THAT Would be an all star-team for sure.
Oh for pete's sake, it's Moonlight Sonata (hint: Note the Moon). To be clear, the opening is from Moonlight Sonata. . .the rest riffs off the general themes of the piece. But I totally dig it.
I heard this and mozart and memories and i just cant help but constantly pick up on the savatage background. Mozart and Madness was one of my favorite Savatage songs and this and Mozart and Memories from tso are breathtaking. but when ISNT tso breathtaking?
That blew me away honestly. I've been playing for several years and know people who have been playing since childhood that can't even play like that. I had a few of them listen to it and they looked frightened at the thought of attempting to play something like that. I can't say I blame them lol
