Hi everyone! welcome to my channel Caroland. In today's video I wanted to set the record straight about how I describe myself as a trans woman and why I strongly believe I was born a girl and have always been a female regardless of my trans identity.

I’m female and always identified as female. I cannot imagine the pain that you went through knowing deep down you weren’t what people thought you were and struggling to understand what this was. I fully agree with everything you say. You are beautiful, intelligent and articulate. I would never have believed you ever had male characteristics at one point. People will always be judgemental and narrow minded but who cares about them. Wouldn’t it be a miserable life if we led it like that. X

If you really think about it, those people come to your videos to attack you because their lives are pitiful. That simple, there’s no other reason to take valuable time from your life and go and try to ruin someone else’s day. They live miserable lives and can’t stand to see anyone else enjoy theirs. Now where am I going with this? To be honest I don’t know either, they just need to worry about their own lives, when you’re successful you raise others energy, not try to bring it down. You Carolina, inspire and bring positive energy. Especially to us transwomen, you are a light in this negative world. I guess opposites do attract 🤷‍♀️ Except there’s also the famous law of attraction… which is only one of many and a story for another time lol

Thanks for the great video! You and many other trans RU-vidrs have been my teachers during my transition. Thanks for everything! I try to always say, “I was assigned male at birth.” I have never been a man, even though I presented male for 57 years, so don’t refer to me as formerly a man who became a woman. I have always been a woman, even when I did not know it for my first 57 years on this planet. You may say that I was a woman who was forced by societal pressure to present male for 57 years, and then I discovered my womanhood. Sorry about the heaters, but remember they can’t affect you unless you let them. Be strong my sister! Love your channel!!

I don't understand why people get so upset about transgender...they are not hurting anyone. Just let them be happy. And YES GOD DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES. And god made them, they are not a mistake. We are all God's children, he made them this way and we should love them as he would love them. He created us all, so yes he loves them too. I find myself wanting to and trying to be a man because earlier in my life I was. I say that I was very lightly because at the time I didn't know or understand that I had suppressed my female self that when she decided to resurface 6 years ago it shocked and scared me because I know that it can be dangerous. Early on in my childhood I had many moments of femininity but when i was being expressive I was punished and scolded. I still get fearful. I am slowly learning to break down my walls and be the most feminine self that I can be. Anyways thank you for this video, love and blessings to all!

Thank you 🙏🏻😊 Thank You for saying this exact thing. I knew my entire life before transitioning 8 years ago since birth that something just didn’t add up. An now at 34 I’ve finally been blessed to have had my own bottom surgery. I knew in my brain that something wasn’t right with me being a boy, a male. It was in 2014 I finally found the words and educational knowledge to what I was missing the missing key to why I always felt like I was a girl, a female. Without this educational gender knowledge I would not know how to function correctly in our society. All I saw was a female version of me staring back at me when I looked in the mirror. My distantly separated no longer there parts started to hurt and that’s when I knew my body was really a female, and she was trying to tell me she wanted out. She wanted to finally step out and start protecting my otherwise known as male self in society’s eyes. Which was enough is enough. Sitting here having you do what you do daily just wasn’t right for myself. So I in a way let her take over and it was the best decision I could have ever made. In summer of 2014 I made that next leap in life and started to fully transition publicly in college at my university with the educational guidance of my gender quality center. My emotions and feelings all made sense now finally finding the answer to my life long quest to find out why I didn’t associate a disconnect of my gender and self appearance. It didn’t line up correctly and now after having bottom surgery it all lines up. It matches my true self as a female. Transgender and Intersex although not proven, have similarities to this in why the chromosomes change at 9 week in pregnancy in where either sometimes we get both male and female genitalia or just male genitalia. Either way the path of being female that changed in development by the formation of Dihydrotestosterone - DHT from testosterone is why we change to becoming males at birth. Without this DHT we remain females all through the female fetus development. So there is some truth to that in saying and reclaiming our full female gender after mtf bottom surgery which I certainly agree with and as we are really females though the end. I suppose only time will tell if they could save the testes to repurpose them to being ovaries then they wouldn’t be discarded as they most often as they do now. In the way of lifting them placing them into ovary positions in the pubic area. Although we still can’t have a uterus to procreate one day, maybe that’s where they can develop research on to creating that for all females if they are naturally born without one.

I’m late to the conversation but I have identified as female since like 5 and the beginning of gender dysphoria when I tried to correct things myself with scissors. I was born gonadal intersexed , was given corrective surgery ( closed my shallow vagina) and my parents tried to raise me as a boy. I was constantly in trouble for putting on my sister clothes and touching my mom’s makeup ( under 10 years old) I know what I look like and sound like hence my dysphoria but I started late in life. Now I am 7 years on hrt . And being my authentic self

The nasty comments and attacks you've received from so many people over so many years is a reflection of a world of people struggling with their own understanding of the world around them, and trying to reinforce their own world view to themselves. It has nothing to do with you as such. Just remind yourself they are communicating with their own ego, not you. They just put your face on their ego to avoid facing themselves.

Imagine if she had been taken to a desert island right after birth with only other males.. she would never want to be female because she would not even know what a female was. I have no problem using a persons preferred pronouns or even calling them a woman(so long as they aren't harming anyone) but to say a biological male knows what it feels like to be a biological woman is not possible because you are not a biological female. It would be more accurate to say she knew she always wanted to be a woman. Even as people without gender dysphoria it can be difficult to describe what it feels like to be who you just are because you can only have that experience and you have no way to experience what it's like to be anything else. You can say you don't like being who you are but you still can't say you know what it feels like to be something you're not. Sure you can dress as a woman and be treated by others like a woman but your still in the same body no matter how much you mutilate it. For example a transwoman can never know what it feel like to have a real vagina and a transman will never know what it feels like to have a real penis. I've heard transwomen in particular say after sex resignment surgery that they now know what it feels like to have a female orgasm but they can't know because they don';t have a real vagina. Vaginal orgasms are also triggered by the nerves of the clitoris. An inward turned penis is not a vulva and clitoris or a vaginal canal...it's not a female sexual organ at all.. it's a mutilated penis and a wound. With trans women SRS, the created neo vagina is often portrayed as the women's sexual organ asif a womans sex organ is just a tunnel. Other that re shaping it to look like one theres zero similarsites between a vagina and neo vagina. It's the same as a male who wants to appear as a female. They can look like a female but every cell of their body has their male sex chromosomes in it.. It's literally embedded in their genes in every cell. It's a male body shaped to look like a female. Theres no part of it with female chromosomes. Imagine cutting an apple in the shape of a pear, it's still an apple. There is differences between men and women on biochemical and cellular levels. That's why so many trans people have negative health complications from taking cross hormones at the levels that isn't what their body is built for.Every single cell of our body that has a nucleus has either an X X or an X Y chromosome in it and each cell behaves according to its complement of sex chromosomes independently of hormones. There's a host of biological and sex specific differences. It's not like we're all made up of ambivalent cells who will respond simply according to the bath of hormone that you put them in, The way that our DNA expresses itself is also sex dependent in terms of what genes are turned on and turned off. if you take a male or female hormone and put it into the opposite gender physiology at access levels it should be no surprise bad things are going to happen. For example. a woman who takes testosterone is at a much higher increase and risk of heart disease. A man who takes estrogen , after about five years or so his risk of developing blood clots and strokes are two to three times the rate of women and men not taking test estrogen. X X and X Y cells are different and they respond differently to hormones. CRoss-sex hormones can affect appearances. They can stunt or damage some outward expressions of our reproductive organization. But they can’t transform it. They can’t turn us from one sex into the other. 7 Sex is a bodily reality that can be recognized well before birth with ultrasound imaging. The sex of an organism is defined and identified by the way in which it is organized for sexual reproduction. Natural organization is the defining feature of an organism,. The various parts … are organized to cooperatively interact for the welfare of the entity as a whole. Organisms can exist at various levels, from microscopic single cells to sperm whales weighing many tons, yet they are all characterized by the integrated function of parts for the sake of the whole.” Male and female organisms have different parts that are functionally integrated for the sake of their whole, and for the sake of a larger whole-their sexual union and reproduction. So an organism’s sex-as male or female-is identified by its organization for sexually reproductive acts. Sex as a status-male or female-is a recognition of the organization of a body that can engage in sex as an act. Our sexual organization begins with our DNA and development in the womb, and that sex differences manifest themselves in many bodily systems and organs, all the way down to the molecular level. In other words, our physical organization for one of two functions in reproduction shapes us organically, from the beginning of life, at every level of our being.

There are all kinds of birth defects but God doesn't enter the picture for being born with these defects. When your genitals don't match your internal (brain...as Carolina puts it) why is that any less of a birth defect than being born without proper limbs, for example. I am a CIS-Guy and I have great faith in God, but I also believe that some things that happen are simply the events of mortality. God doesn't make mistakes, but we have very little insight into why "nature" makes mistakes. I have heard a half dozen people who were born without a hand, for example, say "and nobody knows why." But Amy Brooks, for example, has neither arms nor legs (from birth) but still has a strong faith in God. So, by the same token, I believe that there really can be a disconnect while in the prenatal state between the formation of the brain and the much later formation of the genitals. So Carolina's "position", for me, is very acceptable....and I don't believe that "God's curse is upon her" or anyone else born with the mismatch between identity and sexuality. For me, these are the people who come into the world with a heavy identity burden...which may only fully manifest itself at puberty....for which we should have tolerance and sympathy...not abhorrence and rejection. (That being said, I think the abhorrence enters the picture for trans people who essentially make their condition pornographic. That is no easier to accept from them than it is from CIS people.)

@@TheCarolinaGutierrez14 I actually just posted about this on Instagram. This is what I said: Just a little clarification- transition isn’t about becoming something else or going from point A to point B. In my view, I’ve always been female. Growing up - if you took away all the outside influence and shame I was made to feel when I was the truest version of myself - the default of my brain has always been female. I never understood boys. I tried to act like one, talk like one, and think like one. But I couldn’t. It was fake. If I watched a show or movie, I related to the female characters and understood their way of thinking instinctively. A silly example is when I was watching Lizzie McGuire growing up, I always found myself relating SO much to Lizzie and not Gordo. With maybe 3-4 exceptions, every single friend I’ve ever had was female. That was my tribe. That was where I was comfortable. That was where I belonged. When I was trying to figure out my style, I didn’t look up to men. I watched Aaliyah, Christina Aguilera, or TLC’s videos and think “I wanna dress like HER!". When we learned about anatomy in s*x ed, I would immediately feel sad because I wished I had the opposite of what I actually had. When I would go swimming growing up, I would either insist on wearing t-shirt or instinctively cover my chest when I got out because I didn’t like feeling “exposed”. My transition has been about un-learning the script I was forced to read from my whole life and learning how to be ME again. It’s not about becoming someone different. It’s about REDISCOVERING myself and finally making my body match that.

It's because 9 weeks into fetus development we where female it is only when testosterone and dihydrotestosterone come into play is when our bottoms develop into a male. Without it we stay female. So perhaps the change in at 9 weeks, we never got enough time to complete the female anatomy as the testosterone took over. This is how I realize it after learning what this was. I just didn't know the right correct terms/form the right words to express what I was feeling to my parents. An sadly It's not like they would know what to do back then when this topic of transgender was a thing, but back then there was not much information about it to know what to do. I'm just happy I transition now than never getting an opportunity to. It's never too late to transition.

@@Jdonovanford Yes. Gender is in brain. Sex in Junk. You could be a woman in a male body. People don't realise they don't get attracted to chromosomes but to breasts and ass. Transgenders can get both with help from medicine. So far having biological kids as the opposite sex is not possible but it might be. But then there's infertility in cis genders. Adoption is the way out unless you hate that too.

It seems like trans people who suffer/ed from gender dysphoria are usually far more humble and far less entitled than those who don't. It's like night and day! But it makes sense when you're grateful to FINALLY feel your brain and body are somewhat aligned as opposed to wanting something for reasons much more carnal or degenerate in nature.

*thank you* carolina! 💜 i can 100 % attest to that. exactly the same with me. i refuse to accept wording like "born a boy" or "became a girl/woman". 🙅🏽‍♀️ just like you, i already *was* one all along. and it's not the same as being a "feminine boy". 🤦🏽‍♀️ i would be interested to find out more about what gender identity is at its core - even if there are concerns that this knowledge could be used to "diagnose" people. personally i choose (as of right now) not to medically transition. for various reasons. that does not make me any less transgender. being trans is a very unique subject of discrimination, because it is still impossible to "prove" our identiy. we can't even fully explain the difference from just being - in our case - "feminine" (which you obviously don't even have to be to identify as a trans woman). *we just know.* and everyone who gets to know us knows as well. 💁🏽‍♀️

Thank you... I have always said that I felt like an alien trapped inside a body that wasn´t mine, it was a prison for my entity. I learned to behave and act like a boy in order to survive in environment of physical and mental abuse. My thoughts, my persona, my sense of self, my essence that some call soul, was always a girl/woman, a feminine entity imprisoned in the wrong vessel. I had to learn to act like a boy/man, but being myself, finally, is effortless and natural. I am, therefore I am, and what I am: is a woman. 💕

You are a beautiful lady but I do have a question. In sports I seen a trans woman was in a boxing match with a girl. This trans girl beat her so bad she left on a stretcher an had brain damage of course the referee let it go to far. An there was a girl in high school who trained all her life running sprints. Her senior year a trans girl compete an beat everyone 3 seconds in 100 meters set a record that will not ever be broken by a female. Lost her scholarship to college an her chance to ever make it to any Olympic trial. Question is do you think that transgender should compete with born females. Much love an much respect.

Hi there Carolina. My mom's friend was here a few days ago. She mentioned that her one grandchild is gay, just like me. I responded with, "I'm not gay, I'm transgender. There is a difference. The one is a sexual attraction and the other is gender." Now before I go on, my mom is 77 years old turning 78 in a 2 months. Her friend is slightly younger. And them having this discussion seem weird yet wonderful to me. She also had another friend along that is in her mid 80's. When I started to explain the differences. She explained that her grandchild plans to go for sex change operation (her terms), and I told her it is called gender confirmation surgery at least one of the terms. This child decided that 18 years old was the perfect time to disclose, and I'm happy that she has a family that understands, even if her mother isn't supporting the embracement of the gender. This is heartwarming to find a grandmother in her 70's and a father in his 50's supporting their youngings. She thought that gender identity goes with what you wear as well. I told her no, it is all about the brains. The gender and the sexuality was determined before birth and this is just how it works. And her response was, I know this can't be a decision, because who wants to make a decision that will give them a world a grief with a minority that supports them. Oh yes, by the way, I was busy using my IPL system as I was watching this. Back to the story. They went on to discuss my one uncle who was in his 90's when he passed on a good few year ago, and would've been in his centenary life cycle if he had survived. He was gay, and none of us ever questioned him about it, it was normal even if he tried to hide it from us. I think and hope in his absentmindedness that he actually pathed the way for the younger generation. Even if some of the generations after him had major issues with family not people, just family being gay as they would say, even if yes I am trans. They didn't know the correct descriptions. I should be glad that the ones that had a problem with family in the LGBTIQ+ spectrum, got children in the spectrum and didn't push their children away, they embraced their children, after a long hard struggle within themselves. Would I change my experiences in life. Not at all. If, this had to easier and just body aligning with my brain, would I still be the same person. The same understanding, and would I be capable of dealing with bullies. Yes, I know that my dealing with bullies are different to others. I make the bullies feel uncomfortable to the point where their own friends question their sexuality. I also know, I wouldn't have had the interest to learn martial arts as a child to defend myself, as the need wouldn't have been there to defend myself against bullies, as they would most probably wanted to date me. I also know, that my dating experiences would be different to the point that I would be more openminded to dating. Not because I fear an attack on me, I do not want to go through the conversation of, "I am a female, you are interested in only females. Thus making you a heterosexual man. It doesn't make you gay. Unless you desire men and women, then you might be bisexual or any of the other spectrums of sexuality. It doesn't change your gender, neither does it make me a man, I have and always will be a female, a woman that is strong enough to handle what the world had to throw at her. Be secure that this hasn't changed your sexuality." Do we have to be strong? Always. Are we leading the way in our own ways? Yes, you are vocal on social media. Where I was physically strong to fight against the injustice my career choice left me. I had to fight for my rights, and so make the rights of all those who follow on the whole spectrum be covered. Yes, I still fight for the community, as that is one of my functions as a police official. This sergeant can't let anyone be discriminated against. Unless you were an idiot with an idiotic move as a criminal, I can stand up for your rights. Being the only trans person, wasn't just difficult, it automatically made me the go to person to ask about gender and sexuality. Will we see most of the negatives in the world as pioneers? Unfortunately, pioneers need to smooth out the road for the rest to follow. Will it become easier for the rest? Yes, unfortunately I can't guarantee that we will still be around when equality has been reached for all genders and sexuality, not to mention the divides between races. Would I go through all this again, if I knew what was in store for me? Yes, my decision to be a police official came at a tender age of under 4 years old. Me being raped at 16 years old and almost killed by my attacker on my birthday, yes, as that is an experience that shaped me, not only to listen and understand the plight of a victim, but also to be a helping hand when they decide, enough is enough I have to become a survivor and they know my door is always open for them to talk and figuring out an appropriate method for them to gain life back and be a survivor. Would I change be shot at or attacked with knives, definitely no. I know it showed my strength as a person, and it showed the women that were almost killed in their relationships, that it is alright to fight for their lives as they deserve to live and not just give up on life. Women are strong, if not physically as strong as a man, we are capable of the mental capacity that will make us conquer the world and our attackers. Should we accept that the world is biased towards some of us? Unfortunately, it is easier for those of us that pass better as the gender we identify as and that of our brains. We are strong, as you said... The comment that God doesn't make mistakes. Yes, he doesn't make mistakes, and he also doesn't give the fights to his weakest children, he gives the fight to his strongest children, because he knows that the strongest children will not stop till the fight is won. You should stay strong and always smile like the queen you are. The inspiration to the world, and never think of yourself as weak or insignificant. You fight for equality will, one day, make the difference that we all need and want in the world. You have so many people that stand behind you, not to watch what your next move is, but to execute the next steps with you. As long as it isn't dance moves, I'm in. Takes me ages to learn dance steps, and then my relax dance comes in and messes the whole thing up. You have your fighters in your corner to protect you when the difficult fights comes. You have your supporters that will cheer you on. You have the group that will and can only verbalize what is happening and change peoples minds. Rely on the group you have to execute your plans. We are world wide and strong enough to change the world, one step or stone at a time.

This video is really important and valuable. I totally agree with the way you view and explain sex and gender, and I have felt the same way about my own identity and how I developed in the womb because it just happens, and people need to understand and keep up with human development because 2 spirited and transgender people have always existed but was not known to everyone. Just like the terms gender and sex used to be used differently than today and there used to not be hormonal therapy and now there is today, tomorrow there will be other forms of progress that people most likely didn’t envision a century ago.
