Two of my good friends and I completed the TAT this year. It is the best way to experience our country and the wonderful friendly people that it is made of. Every time I see footage of the places I have been along that journey I feel a great loss not being on it now and a joy that I got to experience it. I highly recommend to put aside your daily life gear up and go regardless what is going on. It will be there when you come back and you will view everything in a different light. Set a time, plan, and just do it your will never regret it.
So cool man! The TAT is on my short list for the USA...Just need to finish this ride to South America. Always planning the next ride! Ride far my friend!
Excellent editing and very relatable -- stream crossings with tip-overs, cows in the way, endless flat terrain, sphincter-puckering escarpments. Fabulous musical background too.
Why does no one ever say what bikes and equipment they use and if they had problems on these rides. That's the most interesting part! Video of the trip we have seen a million times already!
☣droid☣ you can read a hundred opinions on what bike and gear to take and none/all of them will be right. We took a DR650, KLX250, XT250. Xt went through two sets of clutch discs. KLX blew through a battery. DR had no issues. I could right a small book about my advice for the trail but that would defeat the purpose.
