Thank u soo much well explained It is highly appreciated if u can explain how to check the update status of encs for present voyage & How to delete the expired ENC license. Thanks in advance
If u r on transas ecdis then most likely ur company will not give another software and will ask u to use navi planned which is in ur ecdis but still company might different software for chart handling or even might ask to also install navi planner on computer 💻 but personally where I had transas ecdis I have not seen separate chart handling software
Hello Sir, since once we complete with updating it will synchronised automatically with another ecdis, any idea on how to update it separately? Because as per company regulations it required at least 24 hrs gap for updating between 2 ecdis
Yes normally it will get update automatically, to stop auto update on other ecdis u would require service engineer as they will stop auto synchronisation in both ecdis but the problem in this case would be then automatic route and user map transfer will also stop between 2 ecdis, so best is to let them be like this otherwise it will be a lot of hassle for u for transferring routes n all
Thank you very much. Can you tell me from which menu i can find observed distance made good for last 24 hrs in transas ecdis? It would be very helpful if you can respond.
brother in MONITORING TAB >>> their you would find>>ROUTE MONITORING in that you can find past track setting if you would follow this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lsFzqfL7CyA.html at 1:16:21 time stop the video and then you can see the PAST TRACK SETTING in Route monitoring tab
Helpful transas ecids series 👏 I have a doubt, as explained by you we have to sent rqst mail for catalogue and weekly update every week.? If we don't send the mail every week (as told by you), our service provider will not send weekly updates automatically? Thanks
Its depends on your chart service provider, But till now what i have experienced we have to send the request for catalogue and chart updates, the reason is lets say you removed 2 charts from ur software or ecdis , the chart provider now does not know what is the inventory of ur ships charts, because what they send to ships is, ship specific catalogue update + ship specific chart updates, so when we make catalogue update request, in that request we are actually sending the inventory of ships ENC with their expiry limit, bases on that the chart provider will send us the catalogue update(like is there a new version of any chart available or for which chart do we have correction in this week) etc.
Sir can you also please explain...how to order permits for charts which have been expired or about to expire soon? For example in my inventory I have 10 charts whose licenses are expired? Sir I understood the process of ordering new enc by loading route format in Navi planner ..but have a doubt on how to order permits for expired charts!!
@@atlantianpawanharyana1005 hi bro it mean before we have weekly update ENC we must order catolouge chart first than conduct update so we also have weekly order catolouge righ
After we install cell permit we will update both 2 base DVD is right that 2 base DVD I have download on internet or service provider they sent to me sir
I have issues with transas ecdis , in one Ocean my all the enc upto date but in my transas ecdis one particular enc not showing updated week number is blank and when I click on this enc showing chart information not upto date also after the update I can in report it's showing for about enc update rejected due to previous update missing please do the need ful bro
brother simply note down chart number then delete the chart and request license key for that single chart from chart supplier ...after installing permit then install base dvd and then request for update..thats it
