Join me as I embark on a second attempt to conquer the Atlantic Ocean in a small single engine plane. On this episode we fly from Lithuania, make a quick stop in Denmark and then make the first big crossing of open water to Sumburgh in the Shetland Islands to enjoy the stunning beauty of it's rugged coastline and thousands of birds inhabiting the cliffs around Sumburgh head lighthouse.
In this video series I hope to offer a glimpse into the challenges of preparing and actually flying across the Atlantic ocean, navigating over the remote northern landscapes and vast stretches of water, and experiencing breathtaking views that only a small plane can offer. Whether you're a seasoned aviator or just love adventure, I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I did.

I was just telling my wife 1 week ago how I wanted to find a channel of someone flying around the world and sharing their experience. As much the flying part as the traveling and discovering new landscapes and history. I'm hooked! Similar to the Sailing channels but with planes! Keep it up!

Enjoying the series! I went to shetland islands (there's a video on my channel) but it seemed a lot busier then, not crazy touristy, but there seems like no-one was there at all when you went, which seems perfect :)

I was pondering the idea of flying to Svalbard, but it's too much of a hassle. It's a long flight from the mainland, and there's no avgas there, so I would need ferry tanks. Plus, sightseeing flights are not allowed there, so it's not really worth it.
