it CANNOT be compared to Full-Form eSSDs in terms of Performance. what u see here is very close to its max benchmarking performance. what i have is 400mbps stable reading speed with 280 for peak-writing - WIN11, NTFS. and u wont see much difference if u just change its file system. also, 280mbps is its usual peak performance which leads to device overheating at 60 degrees Celsius in a couple minutes, 30mbps while cooling and an avg working speed at 60mbps. look for someone to run a real test with copying large volumes at once. this one is a dummy. at the same time, it doesnt mean that device is poor. no, it's actually pretty good in any other aspect... apart from performance xD
NO keychain connection ?? I need a really fast, safe one for cyber secturiryx studies with Kali Linux... but want to connect to my keychain.. which one should I look into would you say? what would you sugest me? thanks! :)
comparing it to Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD, which would you prefer in terms of portability and reliability? especially if will be used to transfer from iphone.
@@ClumzyaziD yeah I just got it and experienced it right now but not that drastic. I transferred 200gb worth of files in one go and it went from around 500gb to around 200-300gb.
@@ClumzyaziD oh I meant MB per sec, my bad. I transferred 200 gb worth of files and it went from 500MB/sec to basically 200-300MB/sec. I have not gotten below 200 yet tho
This is for the 512Gb not the 1tb I searched for on here. So the transfer speeds will be better, will look for a video that I was actually searching for 🙄
If u r planning on transferring big files (more than 20GB) then skip this one. Throttle down like crazy USB 2.0 speed .. even slower than WD HDD.. it couldn’t even maintain a good 60MB/s like my WD
Sometimes fast (1+GB/s) sometimes slow (44mbp/s). But too many times, the video files are getting corrupted in the transfer process, which is a mayor flaw of this stick.
@@thespacedan. I dont think about game, i use it for editing video, well more than hour it start to hot but not that hot can burn when touch, i use on ipad only but i think play game in few hours not a problem
@@jonson2708 does it only getting hot when there's a reading file inside it? i also plan to buy one as secondary drive for video editing so basically the footages will be stored in the drive
I have an 11th generation PC with a fast 3.2 USB and Type-C port. However, when I tested the speed by copying and pasting a single large 5GB file, the SSD's write speed did not exceed 200 Mbps and the read speed was only 300 Mbps. I do not recommend this device. It's a waste of money.
Hmmm not sure why didn’t u get the maximum throughput for that small 5GB file. Supposedly this thing can easily hit the max write speed of 1000MB/sec when it’s still cold n dark. Only when it gets hot like an exhaust pipe then it goes terribly slow like pendrive from the year 2008
