What model Garmin did you install ? -- I dont think most of them have the 12 Pin Connector.. Thanks in Advance I have a Switch also looking to add a Garmin soon ---
Re taping and greasing the 8 pin connection The adapter cable kit should contain a threaded back shell and O-ring to secure the cable to cable connection mechanically, sealed water tight. The back shell is to be installed after the adapter cable is routed through tight spaces.
