You're calling someone's opinion a out them "totally imploding" a fact? They're having a slow start in recruiting because of the staff overhaul only two months ago. It takes time to build relationships with recruits and it isn't made any easier when Michigan is in the stone-age in NIL when it comes to High School recruiting. You cannot simply look at their situation with zero nuance. Also, have you forgotten about LSU in '20 and '21? That was a team that actually imploded after a national championship going 5-5 and then 6-7. The OP talked about "facts" and about Michigan "imploding" and it being "unprecedented" and yet he then completely ignores a team that won a national championship a few years ago that actually did implode a year after their title. The OP was just spouting his incredibly biased wishful thinking as it's factual. Trying to compare what's happening with teams from the past is a fruitless endeavor. This is only the third recruiting cycle where NIL has been a major factor. The transfer portal, in it's current form, is still only a couple years old. No reigning champ has ever lost a coach in February and had to contend with a climate even remotely close to what it going on now in college football. There is no team you can point to in the past and say, "See, Michigan is doing awful right now! (Team X) went through the same thing and did much better!" Also, why aren't people making a big deal out of Texas coming off their first playoff appearance and only have a few commits? Shouldn't they also have momentum, especially since they have the same staff? People are just creating these narratives because they hate Michigan.

Michigan ALWAYS fills O-line vacancies with NFL talent and Michigan (again) has 2 running backs that would start on every team in the B1G, (without a doubt) if not the country, in Donovan Edwards and Kalel Mullings.
