The present video Transfigure Your Adenium Bonsai by Grafting a Seedling (Double Caudex) is a tutorial video showing how an adenium seedling is grafted onto the two trunks of two adenium plants. These two adeniums were joined together four months ago. The grafted seedling will be trimmed in future for more branches that will make a thick canopy. As the desert rose seedling is used as the scion, it will start to grow as an individual plant and its caudex will become massive. The root stock caudices will also grow massive. So just think what a beautiful adenium bonsai it`s going to be. Following the process anyone can grow a desert rose bonsai of a different type. A bonsai adenium with many branches and tons of flowers looks splendid. An adenium tree with massive caudex and thick canopy represents a desert rose bonsai with a difference look. Hence this tutorial is also about making adenium bonsai. We can make a bonsai desert rose in many shapes and sizes. Grafting is a surgical operation. So everything used in this operation needs to be sterilized. Here I sterilize everything including my hands with isopropyl alcohol.
