He died as the offering before God the father for sin so that all who believe in Him would be forgiven. There were many commandments that Jesus reiterated in the new testament, and also that are reiterated in the Epistles. You're making an argument as if the New testament does not exist.

The New Testament is very clear. Read Galatians every day for a month, and ask the Lord to teach you what He wants you to know.
