I am nearly 66 yrs old, and uou are such an inspiration to me. I have so many of your kits, and I can't bear to use some of them, either, and you can print lots .... but your idea of today's ephemera becoming tomorrow's treasures was too wise for your years on earth. You were born to be an artist. And don't believe all these people who say the world is ending and wicked. Your world is what you make it, and you are making your and our worlds so beautiful. This is beyond gorgeous, just looking & admiring each page tells its own story of how it was created. Roses for love, white lace for innocence, buttons for fun & a sewing journal filled with memories. I could go on & on. I remember rummaging through my mother's sewing box with its wicker handle & needlepoint canvas on top to admire. It was a journey just sneaking it out of the linen closet. I now know how to create a journal of my mother's memories. Thank you so much for sharing & being so creative. 🌹🌹

I would love to see a video on how to journal in a story concept journal, you’ve made many journals with a back story and beautiful altered envelopes, such as the bohemian dreams collection, and I’ve always wondered how one would incorporate their own personal life memories and mundane day to day experiences to a journal that, not only has its own back story (real or not), but also is supposed to be before internet or such advancements. At the end of the day, it is your journal, you do with it that you will, I was just always curious on that and would love to see a video talking how to journal or journal prompts for a story concept journal.
I would absolutely love to share a video! I’ve actually filmed one before but didn’t think it would be interesting to watch so I never shared it but now I know it’s definitely something that would not only help but inspire as well! Thank you for letting me know sweetheart as it means a lot!

I love seeing the journals and diaries of the past so I try to add a sense of imagination and wonder when creating these concept journals. I always use my normal journals everyday but creating a journal like this truly is magical for me!

I would love to do this journal about my grandmother, Lillian, who was a prolific seamstress, making a lot of her own clothes, and the wedding dresses of her daughters and my mother's. Wonder how hard it would be for me to replace Rosabella references to Lillian in this kit.
That is an incredible idea! You can truly take any papers that have a sewing theme to tell your grandmothers story. I have sewing/embroidery papers that don’t mention Rosabella’s name at all or you could always trim the name or cover it up with a piece of paper that has your beautiful grandmothers name on it!

I teach this in my artist in bloom course in depth so you can apply it to any book or journal that you want to create!
