That dining table is fabulous after the refinish. You make it look so easy, Monica, refinishing tables, building things. I always love the final result, whatever your project is.
I second the lady who asked for a gazebo project. The metal ones we've put up always got destroyed by the crazy wind here. So maybe something sturdy to withstand wind, and maybe with a removable cover... Thanks for the videos, and it's great to see you again! 😃
Hi, would love to see a recycling are. We need to recycle compost, paper, pet, glass and cans. We build an apartment in our home to rent, so I have no garage et. Currently its sitting in a basket by my front door and I am hating it.
Monica, you are the only reason I shop at Lowes and the reason I ever picked up a drill. Now I paint my own home and have done all sort of small projects. I'd like to see a garden diy. I've seen many tutorials but not simple enough for a novice like me. I'd like to plant my own garden and would love to see a wheelbarrow or nice raised planter 🙃
Oh my God I love your patio now I have such an ugly backyard a huge backyard that have nothing to do with and I think I just might do this and knowing you were able to do it by yourself I can do it too thank you so much
That patio rocks... it looked good before you started; but the after was the bomb. And the lighting was my favorite. Dual purpose is my favorite thing. Lol what's next?🤔
Serious Kudos to Lowe's - these are really really well done videos. Monica is authoritative without being overbearing and you can tell by how she presents her work that she (and not some anonymous group or person) is making the aesthetic decisions.
Hey Monica, I am a female and want to get into woodworking. I would love to see beginner vids - tools/machinery to have, setting up a small shop, beginner friendly projects , how to choose wood, sketching projects and just general basics, etc. Also, keep these projects coming- you are great at this series and have some great ideas!!!!
I would like to see a garage makeover - (you’ve done this in the Weekender) - but include some upgrades as a neighborhood gathering space for game days..winter days..whatever days.
I don't think I ever watched the Lowes RU-vid Channel, let alone knew it existed, until I discovered Monica with The Weekender series. His charisma, vivacity, and radical candor just makes me feel so empowered!
actually you movie screen you want it as grey as possible. That patio looks awesome though. Might steal some ideas from it! Love the patio stones on top of table! That is super cheap and it looks good! The food prep with the paverstones though looks super low! It looks uncomfortable to use it as a cutting station. Looks mor elike 2 ft tall than the standard 30ish inches
We just repurposed old steel cabinets for an outdoor kitchen. We even put our charcoal grill in one. Now we have storage for the supplies and prep space.
I'm so super jealous of how good you are with DIY!!! I literally watched every single one of your videos on the Weekender and even saved them to watch again, thank you so much for the tips and inspiration (even though I get someone to do the drilling and heavy lifting lol) I'm moving soon and am super excited to decorate the apartment using some of your tips 😁 EEEEEK
Monica....omg I love everything you do and how attainable you make it!! I hope you make a million episodes. Sadly I binge watched all the other ones and am now just waiting for more!! What did you use on your butcher block to seal it from rain and water?
Thank you so glad you're loving what I do! Seal with tung oil if you're using the surface for food prep (if you're not, could use an outdoor polyurethane)
You are absolutely my superhero now. You’re an amazing woman! Lots of love to you and your channel my friend… I just happened across you and I’m glad I did. Thank you for the tips that you shared here and all you do for your subs on your channel. I am a new one I guess❤️
I have a project I want to do but have no idea how to get started. I want a Murphy sectional for my living/sewing/workout room. I have a plan....ish but have no idea what the heck I would need to build it. Wanna help?
I would like to see videos on what you can do for a AZ small patio backyard. Almost all homes in AZ have rock backyards which makes it hard to enjoy your yard☹️
I'm a old man but I tell you what you are so talented and beautiful young lady keep up the great work Lowes is blessed to have U with them may God continue to bless you
Great job. It turned out so nice. I want to put up curtains for privacy on my patio. I need to learn how to make an outdoor rod that will wrap around a corner.
I am so obsessed with Monica and The Weekender, and I can't think of the last time I said that about a RU-vid Channel! I am actually going to try some of her projects this summer when we do our backyard for the first time in twelve years!
This turned out amazing! I love how Monica gives step-by-step instructions in a way I can understand, and which seems like it might even be doable for a near-novice like me. Her videos are so inspiring and enjoyable!
I am a grown up woman, but I wanna be you when I grow up😂 Amazing work, it is so beautiful and the way you make it, makes me feel like I can do it too! Thank you🥰
Hi you did a beautiful job and I appreciate it 🤗 on a previous episode you did a Murphy bed could you give a detailed step-by-step on how to build that Murphy bed you normally do it at your desk after the fact but you didn't at least I don't think so 😉
Happy Tuesday Monica.. Simply sensational work The back yard patio is Awesome..The movie screen would be that added bonus for anyone's back yard this year..🤗
@@EastCoastCreative Hello ..you are welcome Monica you are an inspiration..I'm a first time home owner.. learning by watching your tutorials and taking that Tim and opportunity to try my best.. Again thank you
This is so inspiring. I'm in the beginning phases of my own backyard makeover and this was just what I needed - to see what I've been picturing in my head right in front of me! ❤️😊
I love it, I would love to learn from Monica, she is so creative. It’s rains a lot here so what do you do with all the outdoor stuff (furniture etc.) when it rains?
I would like to see examples of patio scale-Furniture & FIREPIT how much room should be planned while designing the patio? In other words, a floor plan with furniture clearances & traffic flow. These are the issues I’m exploring now, while making decisions about water spigots, electrical outlets, stairs to entry deck, drainage… Jane
Great video. For the reasons that I disliked the Murphy Bed video I love this project. The end result is beautiful, polished and functional. The table with the ice cooler cutout is ingenious. What a great idea! My only suggestion it to use a standard sized cooler so it can be easily replaced when it wears out. I would probably also put a cooler under the 'prep' table to keep your meat cool before cooking. To prevent food borne illnesses such as Salmonella, you should follow the USDA 40 rule: keep your food cooler than 40 degrees or hotter than 140 degrees if it sits out for more than 2 hours. I love the movie screen. Your own drive in patio movie theater, You could also add some fun accessories like reproductions of the traditional Drive In Theater posts with car speakers hanging on them which are available online. Some are equipped with working speakers. Think of the great parties you could throw showing 1960's movies, or 'Grease', which has a Drive In scene. You can serve hot dogs, hamburgers and soda. Don't forget the popcorn. Since as kids, we used to get dressed up in our pajamas and watch the movie from the back of my mother's station wagon, everyone could wear PJ's! Now that would be fun. If you want a really nice picture, the screen needs some reflectivity and there are many outdoor projection screens available. Instead of a flat finish, these screens actually bounce back some of the projected light also. This might be a good addition. I am going to use these ideas in my backyard. Thank you.
Ok, I know this is weird, but I think having a moon gate (at least from wood) as an entrance to your garden would be so cool. Moon gate is some sort of circular arbor that can be made of wood, stone, or metal.
Inspiring us for our First Home build in Bali, Indonesia. Thank You....I am videoing and uploading the build daily. My Husband Ben The Builder is animated and informative. Check him out!
