The Vicowl is available for the 2019 Chevy 1500, but the Grumper is not yet released. This, I am sure they would sell more kits if they weren't so incredibly bad looking and impractical. They need to... 1. Make the kit look FACTORY STOCK. 2. Include large flares to cover the much wider stance and wider tires.

The ViCowl is indeed legal. It covers no more than a flipped down visor inside the cab.

@@monsterram6617 We have never before had anyone call us to let us know their truck had not passed inspection. The Vicowl follows all DOT rules and does not go past the tint line of the front windshield.

@@FabFoursUSA That is what is called a Non Sequitur, which translates to "does not follow". It's a logical fallacy and not a sound or reasonable explanation. People calling you to complain about their truck not passing inspection has no bearing on _IF_ their truck will pass inspection. If true, all that would mean is that no one's called you about it. I noticed that you did not deny that what I posted above is indeed from your instructions. Is your product for off-road use only, or does it fully comply with all state and federal road safety and legal requirements? If it's like your instructions claim, it's not legal for the street and you need to explain why you are telling people that it *IS* street legal. If it is street legal, why do your instructions state the opposite, and why is there at least one person who paid for and installed this on his truck, only to find out it has to be removed to legally drive on public roads.

@@monsterram6617 Street legal varies from state to state. In South Carolina where we are the Vicowl is indeed street legal. That also goes for many other states. That being said, we have not tested it for every state, but have driven these trucks from coast to coast for multiple years and have never been cited for not being street legal in any state we have traveled in.
