Merry Levov is the heroine of Philip Roth’s novel American Pastoral and, in Nina Negri’s interpretation, a reader of feminist writings that fuel the violent, inner rage suffusing this one-woman show - a mix of music, slam and song, poetry and activism. Actor Laura Den Hondt progresses through three ‘mindscapes’ by artist Eva Jospin - a dream like cavern, urban sky-scrapers, and a planted maze - decors that accompany the central character on her journey through the extreme, to ultimate catharsis.
